    Yes, you should wait a few minutes for the paint to dry, then add in any foil etc, and blend together. Also not all the clay needs to be mixed with translucent clay.

    I think you should try mixing more bright colors so the pattern will be more visible and also use translucent brands like premo or cernit, they seem to be better quality.

    Kawaii dragon charm holding or hoarding one (or many) little gem or diamond shaped thingys made from the slabs. I think that would be super cute/cool.

    I don't wait for my paint to dry. A little goes a long way. I also use sculpey liquid translucent to help the bits stick together

    I am so excited that u tried this out and shared with us!!! 🤗💕 I have been seeing these and wanting to try too!! *Eeee!* I love how urs came out!! The only thing I can think of to maybe help.. is I think they add the paint and let it dry for a bit yes! And THEN after that they will add a lil TLS to help stick it all together better 🤔 actually I'm trying to remember if they only used one liquid or the other... Like if they used paint then no TLS?? Ik they will usually use the TLS when they throw in the dry things like micas or gold flake etc 🥰 am so happy u did this video Miss Rachy!! TYSSSM! Happy crafting darling!!!

    I made this a few months ago and I also couldn’t get it as translucent as I wanted. It was also super hard for mine to stick together. Maybe I was too afraid to really smoosh it or it was too cold. I might give it a second go at some point

    If you are wanting super translucent try and snag some Cernit :D. It is what I use for my gemstone slabs for art dolls. Even on the thicker art doll heads it still shows that translucence.

    U can try using corn starch so the clay won’t stick to the cutter

    • @khristlynnehester346
      @khristlynnehester346 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Yes, was also gonna comment this 👏 I usually put a very thin layer of it all over my slab so that each time I press my cutter, it's already there and I don't have to reapply to the cutter or the clay.

    Sculpey 111 isn’t so good for jewellery.
    Sculpey Premo, Soufflé are the most popular.
