We carry that little torch for decades, sometimes for the rest of our lives. The film is heartbreaking in its deep truth about how much one moment can shape us for the rest of our lives.
I absolutely love that years later they picked up where it was left off. I love how his confidence has exploded and he became so comfortable with who he is. Would love to see this story continue

When Johnny asked Ben if he’s happy and kissed him saying “hope it helps”, it’s pretty sad to see Ben still pining after him all these years when his life has moved on. Unrequited love sucks, don’t get sucked into it.

great acting..the way he closed his eyes in longing for receiving that which he longed for all these years...just that kiss from the crush he never forgot..soaking up every moment of that short euphoric high..oh my goodness, great acting...there is no feeling like getting back that which you were robbed of even though it is bittersweet.

There are some things in life that torment us and they don’t go away. It’s remarkable that Adam Fleming is as beautiful now as he was back then. This follow-up was great.
Loved it.......did not expect it to end this way but I am glad that they didn't have the 2 guys living happily ever after. This is real life, and you can see that some hearts were still hurting after all this time.
I really like how much more assertive the Alan Fleming character is in the sequel and he challenges Michael Cassidy's character to step up and follow through. He's so much more self actualized

Absolute perfection! The way this was put together with the original version is so exceptional! Awesome. I didn’t initially see the original version. I assumed Johnny was a total dick, but once I saw the whole thing, I realized he was not, just a guy with a great level of confidence and Ben, the shy guy evolved into a quick witted, but still innocent shy guy who appeared to be so infatuated or in love with the young Johnny and it really never went away. Most people can relate to this story. Well done guy!!

This video keeps popping back in my feed, and everytime it does, I watch it. All I can say is that I've watched it at least twenty times! I've watched the original project years ago. I was so surprised to see an update on their relationship many years later. I hadn't forgotten their story and I was pleased to see that the creators plugged in scenes from the original. I obviously proceeded in watching the original project all over again. Time flies, it's crazy!!

I concur with every comment entry. I really liked Michael Cassidy's role in "People on Earth." I hope it's just me, but Michael looks thinner than anytime that I have seen him. These are fine young actors.
