We camped at Brownwood state park and HAD to go to Underwoods because of Daytripper. I was not disappointed! I'll go again the next time I'm out that way.
I did not grow up in the area, but my mom's family have been in the Brownwood and May Texas area for generations. I grew up eating at underwood's; it was the place we went every time we came to visit the family.
Underwood's in Lubbock is the first restaurant I remember going to. It was so good; we went often and it was always a treat. Guess I need to plan a day trip to Brownwood.
we had 1 in odessa tx & i remember it was soooo gooood!!!! omg i miss that old place!!! it was a very special occasion 2 get 2 eat there!!! the memories!!!! 😮🤤
I have always loved Underwood's...My family would dine there whenever we would visit Brownwood; or, drive thru it on our way to another destination. A lot of good memories there... ☺️
Wichita Falls....she shouted us out. It's me you skipped the Wild Life Bird Refuge when you were here to do the world's smallest skyscraper....how big was that?😂😂😂 The Bird Refuge is really a great place here!
I live about 20 miles from Brownwood and if I want barbeque, Underwoods is the last thought. They do have pretty good chicken fried steak that I usually get. I was there about 6 weeks ago and I believe the "homemade" rolls were Kings Hawaiian that day.
Back in the day, I used to drive my MIL from Austin to Lubbock. It was a regular thing to take her to visit her friends and such. We had to drive thru Brownwood in each direction and she always wanted to stop at Underwood's for lunch. It was the worst food in the entire country but she swore it was great.
sorry but the host is not funny by any means and it does hurt the show. the show has enough good elements to be good, doesn't need to have a comedic side to add to it. those side skits was very lame, just stick to the town's features and good.
I'm 39 and been eating there when we drive through Brownwood for 39 years. One of the most nostalgic places for me.
I hit Underwood up last week.. awesome food..
When we lived in Dennison, TX in the 60's we always went to Underwoods in Sherman on Sundays after church. Glorious memories!
I live in Denison right now..
You put in an extra "n".😂
I live in Denison. I was born too late to go to Underwood’s but my parents say it was a great place.
