    @kris877b Unfortunately, dynamic mics will simply not work because they do not have the sensitivity or reach like the condensers we use in the video.

    Please! You are flipping POLARITY not PHASE. That button on a mixing console is a polarity flip not a phase flip button. The polarity flip switches the hot pin from 2 to 3. Phase occurs in the time domain. Very different from polarity.
