Great video! My mower had wrong size belt. Took a couple seconds to get up to speed. Had to use a socket to turn the spindle cause that bitch was tite. It chirps a little now but the blades don’t bog down. Thank you for that.
you had alot more slack in your new belt when you got to the last pully than i have on mine. i do not not know what the difference could be.mine does have a kawasaki eng but it should be the same
You should have used a 9/16 socket wrench on the tensioner pulley which allows you to use leverage against the spring. This will give you the slack you need in the belt to more easily get it around the last pulley without the threat of getting your fingers punched.
There is a tension spring that you can crank to relieve tension for installation. Makes the job very easy.
Nice job. Really appreciate it. Have my belt, will install this weekend.
Thanks for watching. Hope your install will go well and you be back mowing this weekend!

Thanks for the info- it took me all of 30 minutes to replace- I’m m thinking without the info maybe 3 days…lol thanks
The idler pulley is in the back on the left side that you put the belt on.
That was a good DIY video, and funny too.. thanks.
Thank you Jerry!!

Thanks the the tip! Will definitely do that next time.
Mine does not have the 9/16 bolt, therefor I will have to change it as per the video.
thank you brother
With a glove on reach under the deck and turn the blade for more leverage.
Ever had to level it? I can’t figure out how the front is adjusted
Have not had to level the deck. I have found cutting the grass at 4 1/4 helps keep the grass green and look level.
