Belanger/Sonny Tunnel Wash at Club Car Wash in Boerne TX

Today, I'm up at another tunnel wash, this time I'm at a Club Car Wash in Boerne TX (along S Main St). This is one of Club Car Wash's MANY locations across San Antonio, and this particular site used to be owned by Rapid Express Car Wash who took ownership of this site from Express Car wash starting in 2018 and then Club Car Wash bought Rapid Express in mid 2022. This site used to have all Belanger equipment during Express Car Wash's ownership, and then when Rapid Express took over the site in 2018, half of the Belanger stuff was replaced with Sonny equipment, while still maintaining the first set of mitters, some rinse arches, the first short brush set, and maybe the dryers, while everything else is Sonny, and once Club took over ownership from Rapid Express, the tunnel was overhauled again, mostly to replace the brushes with colors exclusive to Club Car Wash, and the dryers were updated to Sonny's dryers (though they may have been replaced during Rapid Express ownership, but I have no way to confirm that), but this still has a mixture of Sonny and Belanger equipment in this tunnel, though now it's 1/4 Belanger, and 3/4 Sonny. I did buy the 2nd from top dollar Elite wash package which came out to $20, and wash quality for this I would rate this a solid 9/10, the opening presoak was applied decent, the first set of top mitters did pretty good, the wheel scrubbing brushes did good, the side brushes did profile pretty nicely (and honestly much better than some of the other tunnels I went through with the same equipment), the 2nd batch of presoak along with tri-foam on top of that gave a fantastic coating, and the 2nd set of brushes profiled great, the 2nd row of top mitters did great, and this tunnel is equipped with wheel blasters which also did great, and the final rinse cycle went very good and got all of the soap off, and lastly the dryers did a fantastic job drying off the vehicle (Sonny's dryers give such great performance), and I love the Mammoth side dryers on this setup.
