I am so proud of you for willingly sharing your story and being vulnerable in the hopes of helping someone dealing with their own challenge. Your positivity amazed me during treatment and now as you move itnto survivorship you continue to inspire and amaze me! Find those SILVER LININGS!
My 71yr year old husband diagnosed with pancreatic cancer Had 15hr surgery July 31. Prior to surgery he was in hosp for 2 week with obstruction. So had ng tube and put on TPN. Recovery was very slow Lost 70 lbs. he was lucky able to remove all of tumours, one positive lymph. So diagnosed stage 2B Showed no metastasis. Started on 12 rounds of chemo. It’s been ruff. 1St round was hell, second round much better, had 3Rd round yesterday. Has done bloodwork genetic testing My Best friends husband diagnose last Feb with pancreatic, was supporting her only to find out my husband was diagnosed 4 months later. Shocking.

It felt like a death sentence for me as well. Still does 😢
I didn't tell anyone except my immediate family. I dont want a pity party. Also i don't want to Borden anyone with my health issues. 😢
Sending tons of love and support your way💜
