Sister tried to pimp out her younger sister to her creepy baby daddy, tried to steal her other sisters home, made her sister and everyone around her lives hell. Killed her own baby to try to make him disabled for a monthly check and to her dying breathe blamed OP for everything. I dont like to speak ill of the dead but she really took after her deadbeat father.
Hopefully OP can move on past this. I know she cared for her sister but her sister didn't care for her. Also cut out any of her other toxic family members. Its not your fault that you grew up with a mother who worked her ass off to put you in the positions she's in. Dont let jealous family members make you think you have a responsibility to take care of other grown ass people. Thats what your sister thought and it cost her own life.

When “Karen” told the OP that she was just mad, because she will never get pregnant; my own younger sister had said some pretty nasty and vile things to me about me being jealous since I couldn’t have any children of my own, and she even went as far as to say “thank God you couldn’t have any children, because they’d grow up to be total idiots and trash just like you.”
My sister knows just how much I would’ve LOVED to have just one baby with my husband, and every single time that we fight, she just LOVES throwing it in my face. She knew that I had been pregnant 3 times before, and I had lost each baby within the first 3 1/2 months into each pregnancy. She knows that I had to have an emergency hysterectomy, because I had severe endometriosis, literal hundreds of various sizes of cysts all over my uterus, Menorrhagia, a tilted uterus, and my body considered my pregnancies as “foreign objects,” and expelled them, which it’s called “inhospitable uterus.”
I no longer speak with my sister, and I am much happier now.

As a premature baby who had a stroke at birth, I am so disgusted with this psychotic monster who did this ON PURPOSE. It’s a horrible thing to feel a small amount of relief that he will never have to suffer from this excuse of a human being’s selfishness. My own mother is a blight on my life and this chick is WORSE. I’m amazed by the people in OPs life who have managed to outdo her in SPADES. The level of feeling OP has is what I worry I won’t even feel in the future.

Complications from the horrendous birth... I was sitting here listening and was thinking, "ohhhh... blood clots." Then... update 👍. Y'all, I listen to stories and occasionally actually hit the mothership, Reddit... but this is absolutely the worst I've heard/read. 😮
It's odd to have suffered from clots so long after the birth as the risk goes away 3 months post-partum. I thought the sister died a year later given the update being a year later and saying "this April", so I'm imagining it's more likely to be scar tissue or organ damage related
So I looked it up, and apparently the most common reason for death a year or so after a birth is untreated cardiomyopathy

OP had no legal obligation to take over the entitled half sister’s debts. In the US, you only become responsible for the debts of the deceased if you were married to them at the time of death, were a co-signer, or guarantor of the debt. The debts are taken out of the deceased’s estate and any left over debt is the problem of the debt holders.

Oh boy it happens. Gosh does it happen. More often than people realize. If we ever heard all the stories of abuse that happen within and among families, we would know. But I know because I have a sister AND a brother like OP's evil sister.😢 They are hellish people and they have no limits on their abuse and entitlement. A judge evicted my brother for throwing me down stairs for refusing to hand over my house. But I am still dealing with sister. She went to court and lied and is trying to get our mother's will declared null and void. And they did worse. So much worse.

I remember this story a while ago. But I only knew oh at least half the story up until she got deported back to our Hometown and that's it. I didn't know there was more stories behind it and it's really sad. I really hope that she will end up in heaven. But who knows?
