Smith, Jr to friends of Nick at Maple Motors: December is here and time to dress warm. Good luck on the test drive & check for chips, dents, rust & scratches.
I ever hit the lottery, I'm gonna come get at least one, if not several, cars from your lot. They just need to be able to take a summer drive up to New England to show off to my son. Ha ha.
I've got a question for you Nick. My friend subscribe to you for quite a while. He made lots of comments on the cars you test and everything About a year and a half ago he said it seemed like his comments weren't seen. He would make one or ask you a question and nothing was there? I just wondered do you mute people or something like that or does the TH-cam Just tend to do that? Cuz he's still subscribe he watches your videos but he just wondered sometimes he'll make a comment and then will come back and check in a few days later there's no heart or nothing like it's not even seen
No I don’t mute people unless they put something crazy on here. It’s honestly rare that I do , just have a lot of comments to get through every day and sometimes I can’t keep up. Thank you for watching
@@elijah2078 only way to tell after 1968 is if the car has the build sheet , the original window sticker , or the ordering sheet from the dealership . Items that few people saved back then , and after fifty plus years , good luck finding one that still has those items . Be aware that you can buy reproduction window stickers with any option you want on them . Did you notice that the SS 396 badge on the grille is not on the center grill bar , where it belongs ? Or that the SS 396 badges are missing from the door panels , or that the panel between the taillights is body color , and not the correct satin black of a SS car ? I knew a young lady that had a Lemans blue '69 with the white stripes , and a turbo 400 , while I had a white '68 with the black pinstripes on the side, and the Muncie . I spent some time studying the differences between those two cars . I didn't notice , but did this car have the power front disc brakes , which were standerd equipment on ALL '69 SS cars , optional before that .
@@elijah2078 now to muddy the waters up a bit . In 1969 , you could special order a COPO 427 / 425horse big block in a Chevelle , not just a Camaro . They built somewhere over 300 of them , and they were trimmed out as Malibus , not Super Sports . You got the 12 bolt rearend with 4.11s , the SS hood and the oval shaped chrome exhaust tips . No SS , or engine badges , there was a bowtie on the grille . If you didn't know about them , you would think it was a 307 car .
@@bobbrinkerhoff3592 Thanks for the information. I knew there were a lot more clone SS cars being presented than were produced. I believe the Mopar's are a lot harder to pass off as originals when they are actually clones or "tribute" cars. Thanks a lot!!!
This one reminds me so much of my car. Looks like a great car to drive. Right color, 4 speed, big block. No problem selling this one!
Now this is a beautiful car! Love the color and absolutely love the big block! This will go quickly
love the vehicle, the color, the 4 speed with hurst shifter, white letter tires, it needs A/C I live in the south!
🤘🏻No holes in the floor boards excellent 🤘🏻
Thanks like we're not watching the same video, Sherlock.
That's a beautiful blue paint job 😊

i was a car restorer years ago when they were cheap but collector investors ruined it for me now i do not even consider buying one any more
Very nice car, Nick. It's probably already sold. That was some impressive camera work there from your boy.😊
Who you calling "boy" That's derogatory, chief.
BADD ass color. Almost matches my B5 Blue Challenger. On with the show.
There is a leak at, on the drain plug! Might wanna tighten it FYI. Cheers
Shazam, that's cuz I can't say the other word...😂
What beautiful color choice for this '69 Chevelle.
Smoker owned it.
😁
Awesome Chevelle Great Video Watching From London Ky

Blue bloods chevelle ,Jamie Reagan s car ,detroit muscle car thanks Nick and son ,stay cool, great video 😊😊😊😊😊
🤘🏻Got ya on the Bose speaker good sound🤘🏻
Nice car but I can't stand when a dealer puts their business name sticker on the trunk lid of a car like that! Still a nice hot rod Nick.

I'm loving this one
Maybe 20,000. To 22,000. Lot of work to it. Looking at it around another 25,000. to bring it to perfection. I'll give you 20 for it.
This ain't let's make a deal there, Daddy Warbucks.
Wish i had the money thats my dream car
Sorry, not for me...kickdown not hooked up!Great Content!🇺🇲
You can't afford it anyway
@georgejames6376 Range Rover in the garage.✌️
There is no kick down on a four speed! It's called down shift!
@markhorner6182 What??? No paddle shifters???
Beautiful.....💪🏾 😎 💪🏾
🤘🏻Nothing wrong with bondo it’s just gotta be done right 🤘🏻
Wish it had the stock 396 in it.
Pretty sure that's NOT an original SS 396 car......
I'm not so sure myself , plus there is no way to verify a '69 without the original paperwork . @@ct87gn25
My spelling sucks, but I would put a Hurst 4 speed automatic, I put a white stripe on the car
🍀BAD ASS Car🐶✌️
Beautiful ride 69 m favorite year
Freaking nice!!!!
We're did the boy go?
👍👍
AWESOME
The 69 is the more affordable model compared to the 70….
Why ??
Is it an actual SS 396 car, or was it originally a small block car??

That is one beautiful car, I would put a guest 4speed automatic, and do some modifications on it,but in all it's a beautiful car
4 speed 👍
Nice chevelle. Wheels are super boring.
Is it a true ss
sweet chevelle
Who makes those Rims ?
Is it a 138 car? That 12-bolt rear has me wondering.
No 138 code in the VIN after 1968 . You only needed an engine that put out 300 or more horsepower to get the 12 bolt .
@@bobbrinkerhoff3592 Thanks! How can we know if it is an actual SS?
