Thanks for posting. You saved me time researching the spark plug access procedure. FYI; As long as you have the torque wrench hub straight above (in-line with) the spark plug, you do not have to compensate for the added socket wrench extensions. 15 LB-FT of torque would still be correct.
Followed this step by step and my 2013 is no longer shaking, stabilitrak light is no longer on and runs beautifully. I changed the coils too. In total plugs and coils only cost me $125. Amazing tutorial. Dealership wanted $700 bucks for this to be done lmao😂.
I followed your steps carefully, and watched the sequence of dismantling and installation procedures, and I found that you are a very good mechanic and leave no room for error. As for the spark plug, the number is not suitable for the 2013 Chevy Equinox, which is 41-108 , and perhaps it is a different number, even though I prefer the NGK brand from my long experience.🙂
Does not have wires they are actually call ignition coils they usually last the life time of the vehicle they don’t really have a maintenance interval for them, they usually start going bad one by one and you just replace them as you go or if you really wanted you could replace them at the same time is up to the owner, just look it up and 1 coil from gm is about 46 dollars and you need 4 plus the spark plugs and at this time the ones in my equinox are working fine so I decided to leave them hope it helps.
@@MTG6.2 i have to replace my coils. After changing the plugs, doing the seafoam treatment to the cylinders and cleaning the carburetor i still have a tiny shake. hopefully replacement of the coils will fix the problem. Thank you so much!
Owner’s manual says replace spark plugs and inspect wires at 97500 miles, does not say when to replace them but from what i know basically your coils usually last the life of the vehicle and i would replace them when they fail.
Great video. Straightforward. Thanks for posting it.

Hey what size spark plugs are they
Do you mean the socket to take them out ??? If you do the socket is 5/8
How often do you change the coils?

A good answer
Spark plugs...USED TO FOUL...OFTEN
IF YOU KNOW HOW TO FIGURE TO COLOR
THEN YOU KNOW.
OIL BURNING
