Loved the village esp. the church. Appears to be Catholic by the windows and indoor decoration. The old churches are the best in my opinion. When I lived in Europe, I loved to tour Churches around Europe. You can tell the builders were skilled in their crafts.
Thank you for this video, especially the exploration of the Crown Pub. Exteriors were used in Chiddingfold in filming "The Years Between" in 1946, a wonderful film based on a Daphne du Maurier play. I like to imagine Emeric Pressburger, Michael Powell, Michael Redgrave, Valerie Hobson, Flora Robson, James McKechnie and the crew relaxing here at the Crown pub after a day of filming.
You are certainly pushing out the content...thanks very much for that! Interesting to see the photo of the minesweeper...our unit had HMS Telford attached until the government sold her to Pakistan, they promptly managed to sink her! Nice spot for a pint! 🤗

haha yeah i noticed this during the edit. right, so that photo was taken by me BEFORE i went to the bar and got a drink, got chatting to the barmaid and asked if i could take photos in there. i think its just a member of staff from out the back who spotted me taking a photo and quickly tried not to get in shot lol. i dont get how you jumped straight to the conclusion that it could be a ghost! why cant it just be a human?!
