Very sad fact. In rural China, no matter how old the elderly are, as long as they are still active, they have to continue to work, take care of themselves, and even support themselves.
It's never easy getting old. Am at least very happy that grandfather's healthy enough not to need to go to retirement home. He can live with his family ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤😊

When the video ends and shows the thumbnail for the next video, there is a picture of her and her husband in a circled picture. Watch vid to the end. Lao li isn't the husband

The husband works far from the village. Actually many Chinese men from poor rural areas work in big cities and come back to home village only 1 or 2 times a year during the Chinese New year or the national holiday. Felista's husband does the same.

I guess her sister is learning mandarin quite fast, I heard her say some simple words and also seems to understand a bit. Time will tell.
@@cocateen yes they did. Now that her sister is in China it’s much easy to listen and try to speak with the locals. Start with simple sentence, numbers, words etc… I am sure she can learn the language fast. Writing might be a bit difficult though.
@@jpnicholls888 Definitely. If Fel limits her conversation with her sister in their Tanzanian language, but only to explain and translate stuff, her sister will learn Mandarin quickly like she did. Someone commented earlier that her sister has already started attending a matchmaking session. So, she needs to learn Mandarin fast if her purpose there is to find a husband. Maybe the aim is to find a husband before she turns 30.

As an African man who lives in the U.S. bringing an American wife to Ethiopia, where I came from, would not have resulted the way these two families shared their lives both in China and in Tanzania. My American wife would not have been fluent in Amharic as I am in English nor my American wife could cook our dishes to feed my Ethiopian family, let alone help build a stove, install an oil press, etc. I enjoy watching her respectively give grand pa his chop sticks when she serves them meals. That jesture alone will keep her husband committed to her. I learned a lot in this show. Thanks
Yes, as you said, she respectively give grand pa his chop sticks when she serves them meals, more importantly, in addition, grand pa gets the first offering of the chop sticks cos he is the eldest, and she did it with respect and in a well mannered way, with BOTH hands. She is very knowledgeable of both the Chinese and Tanzanian culture and customs.

Grandpa was exuberant to see his daughter in law and grandkids came back home in China. His face was lifted up never before! Now, the kids are learning their African root. They will more so while they grow up. Even a little puppy is growing up bigger and happy to greet everyone back💞

Korean and Indian are Asians but far different
These children are equally ethnically Chinese and ethnically African. Their heritage is both from China and Africa.

I was glad grandpa was okay when they returned because Felista takes very good care of him and her family and buys gifts for everyone!! I would like to know if they have sign language books or a school or someone who could teach sign language! You really can teach yourself through the books. There are people who go to hospitals or other institutions to talk to deaf individuals as a second job and get paid a nice salary. Elderly people I care what color or ethnicity group if along will not eat as they should and they may start thinking no one cares about them and with them leaving he may have started thinking they may not return or how long they would be gone. I’m 80 years old on July 16th and retired January 02, 2021 and really would prefer working or helping Felista planting in the gardens. I use to have a large garden with watermelon, honeydew melons,cantaloupe,string beans,egg plants, sweet potatoes and there are different types,white potatoes, peas and there are different type peas I had a 6 horsepower row tiller for my garden I also had tomatoes and there are different type tomatoes I like feeling the dirt in my hands. My grand kids use to enjoy playing in my garden and talk about it when we get together sometimes now. Oh, I forgot about collard greens, kale, rape, mustard greens, broccoli and Brussels sprouts and cabbage. Maybe Filista sister will meet her a husband in China that will love her and be nice to her like her sister husband!! Since I’m retired, I’m watching your videos late at night and think I have caught up on all them and watch some again especially when Fiista and grandpa are planting. Looking forward to new videos!
This is what i was longing to see. The reunion with everyone in the village. It was heartwarming to watch and even though Mayfair didnt warm.up to grandpa immediately, she didnt hesitate to climb on his back as usual. What an excellent episod! Everyone looks so happy and joyful to have Felista back again. The baby girl Feier has grown up in 2 months. Doudou is eager to see his little female friend Wang Shanshan, though he's also shy to say he's happy to find her😮. So cute ! I like the sister too she's a outgoing woman and seems to be already involved into the family. This is a plus and a good start if she wants to stay in China and find a husband there. African women mostly are brought up to adapt quickly to new environments especially focusing on getting married to a different tribe and moving away from their own people, So you have to quickly learn the inlaws way of life.
That helps because in Asia too women marry into husband's family and must adapt. Especially in rural areas.
