I do maintain that gunslinger engie, in lower divs on koth and with a lot of practice (as much as on any main class), could be 100% viable as a wild card, since no one runs it therefore the enemy team has to counterstrat on the fly which will lead to suboptimal plays, more mental stack and cluttered comms (and possibly tilt). I think it would be especially good at denying bombs because of the insane knockback and autoaim even a minisentry has. I am reminded how in a fighting game I play I sometimes beat players with a mid tier side character that I cannot beat with my top tier main, simply because no one plays that side character therefore no one knows the matchup.

the SoHo is a straight upgrade to stock in any comp format since its biggest downside is the lack of random crits, which simply don't exist in comp. The fire vulnerability is kinda laughable due to engineers already hard countering pyros and pyros are rare in 6s, not to mention you're likely going to have a dispenser next to you 24/7 when holding last. In short it's simply stock with a bleed on hit aspect in comp since it ties with stock in terms of construction and repair speeds. It's simply very boring as it's the only wrench unlock that doesn't have any positives or negatives that are related to buildings
@@meo8258it’s mostly because of last on 5cp where on some if not most maps, the engineer can spam the shotgun inside spawn to keep the sentry alive while resupplying making it just that much harder to take the sentry down, in all honestly if they just put more distance from spawn to last point or at least a wall in front of spawn to force engineer to not stay in spawn then i would see the rescue ranger unbanned

Payload means infinite short circuit for offense. Meaning soldier and demo don't get to play the game
if you have ever played soldier or demo against the short circuit, you will know why
