I think it’s a boring song, that plenty of other people could sing.
@@ncard00 plenty ? omg, maybe all the powerhouse vocalists can. Because those high notes alone enough to make the song really hard to sing (not mentioned the other techniques), so ... plenty people could sing ? Omg you said like the song is like Alphabet song, like anyone can sing it lols.
That last note she sang where she held the long night then jumped up and octave is something some of the most famous singers can’t do.
She went from Dflat5 to Eflat5- just 1 note, but what a note.
It's so bizarre she hasn't been plucked up by more filmmakers to sing original songs for their films. Her voice is perfect for building emotions in the moment and perfect for the kind of film songs that typically get Oscar-nominated.
💯She sounds a lot like Shania Twain as she gets older. So expressive with natural rasp (not too much). Except Loren has a lot more range!
She has been selected to sing the theme song "No Promises To Keep" from the newest Final Fantasy VII game coming out next month. Not a film but at least she's getting some recognition, and it's a big belter like "Never Enough"

This is most likely dubbed for Tv. It probably isn’t the vocal she sang there and then. Most singing performances on AGT are edited in some way for the sake of Tv.

This woman’s father, Dr. Brady Allred, was my choral director over 20 years ago. He is one of the brightest and most charismatic musicians and teachers I’ve ever encountered. He had a profound effect on me as a singer. Makes perfect sense his daughter would be so gifted.

I don't know why, but every time Loren sings this song I absolutely lose it. I cry uncontrollably. She is amazing and I am so happy that I was privileged to hear her performance of this incredible song.
I have also experienced that several times, from the first version and this new take also. But I cried always with a deep awareness of the Love of God/Christ for the human soul, it's as if God Himself is crying out to humanity "I want you to be with Me and receive My Love for you in totality". The context of this song and its lyrics really fit.

Woww! Here in philippines, music is everything and most of the people here can sing so beautiful voices are everywhere but this is my first time seeing, I mean hearing such voice like wow! I was like "How did she do that? That's effortless and the way she open her mouth widely but nothing changes, it's so natural" and yeah! It made me goosebumps while watching this! I am completley awed by her grace, beauty, and most of all her talent. Spectacular! I've watched this multiple times and can't put down the tissue box!
I don't know about you, but the many times I weep listening to her singing thia song, it was with a deep and strong awareness of the Love of God/Christ for the human soul. The first time I experienced that, I then read the lyrics carefully and watched the movie - it really fits. As if the Divine is using the movie and the song to speak His Love to humankind

Absolutely. She was more confident and you could feel it by the way she sang it.
In the bgt version she was a little nervous and her voice was shaky through the first min of the song. But here you here no mistake from the beginning to the end and on top of that she did those modulations that were out of this would. She's just incredible!!

Her Britains Got Talent was her best and not to be bettered by anyone including herself. This in my opinion was a poor effort on her part but everyone liked it including Simon because she has a strong powerful voice. her transitions were not smooth, shortchanged some of the words did not modulate well and in some parts later in the song appeared to be shouting rather than singing which happens to a lot of singers when they are trying to belt out notes. Go back and look at her BGT performance and then compare

I normally do not like when they change a song up but the higher notes added to this enhanced it and made it even more amazing. Best performance of this song hands down. When she performed it in BGT, you could tell she was nervous here and there. This performance blew that out of the water. Unreal.

@@ashleybrooke3217 they changed some parts of the song for this performance to properly showcase her improved range. And the producers of the greatest showman wrote the song, she only performed it.
@@ashleybrooke3217 she didn't write it, pasek and Paul did, she sang the previews of their songs for the movie for them that helps actors learn how to sing the songs, and the actress playing the role who had to sing never enough decided lorens vocals were better for the "greatest voice in the world" and decided to lipsync to lorens vocals

Everyone was screaming, yelling, standing and cheering and Simon, Simon was completely turned to mush, leveled, dropped to his knees in awe. He couldn't clap. He couldn't stand. Completely leveled with that magnificent voice and that glorious rendition. American needed that song, exactly that song in exactly this hour. Thank you, Lauren.

@@BigCrashNoSmash I disagree with the premise here. The Golden Buzzer has always rarely been used on those the judges believe can't make it through all stages of the show. It's always been used, predominantly, as a way to try to counter the bias that causes some talented folks to get eliminated too early. There are many who simply don't the buzzer and they tend not to get it for that reason.
