Bajaj seems impressive with its features, tubeless tires and easy to maintain? Does avenger can pull easily with pillion in Leh Ladakh?

Hi Dino, fantastic review. I don't miss any of your posts. I'm planning to buy avenger 220, but the confusion is that to go for street or cruise. Usually I ride both city and highway and also I'm so much crazy on the cruise 220 look.
Cruise 220 is among the most comfortable bikes, my Cruise 220 Desert Gold edition video will be uploaded by next week too. Street 220 can be enjoyed in city and highways, cruise can be enjoyed more on the highways rather than city.

i have been riding street 220 more then 8 months now and completed 17000kms. its good bike for city and long rides. but also i am not happy with the rare brake, suspension and tyres have no good grip.

i think it will look good if you paint the front fender and tailpiece with matte green color,check the Cruise 220 Gold how its painted gold on fenders and tailpiece.

Hi Bro, I am planning to buy a bike with good power, low vibration mostly for city. Budget is close to 1 lakhs. I like Avenger 220 but I don't like Apache RTR or any of the TVS bikes. Can you please suggest?
are you aware how much it cost to replace the stock tires once they wear out. thing is that I took a test ride of mojo and I really liked it and I think it is something in between royal Enfield and KTM.

The braking sadly is the biggest problem for avenger series...Bajaj could have atleast provide with rear disc as the front locks up easily and the rear one doesn't provide the bite or feedback and wears of really quick to add to problems..
Yup, need to check brake shoe every 10k kms, but that isn't too bad yaar. Braking would be better if you maintain tyre pressure mentioned in the user manual and use both front and rear brakes while braking.

because if i use polish or wax after washing then the matte look destroys..

new upgraded street 220 will be coming in 2018 Feb ,any idea wat all changes in coming updated version ,is they include abs ,rear disc break.
Matte green colour has been discontinued by Bajaj for avenger. I booked a matte green, but could not get.

Hi, since I am a student and work as a part timer , I am a bit low at budget.... also, I need a bike which is high at mileage and has decent power.
+anik singh sidhu The Victor would be a better option as it is more of a performer and is a 110cc bike. It offers more torque and better horsepower. The downside would be the mileage which would be little bit less when compared to the Passion pro.(Around 8-10kmpl difference). The fuel tank is also only 8l where as the Passion Pro has a 10.5l tank. Victor has a Disc variant also.
Hey there buddy, first of all thank you very much for your encouraging words, really mean a lot. Regarding your query, I would suggest Victor because it has better saddle comfort and a good suspension setup too along with a nice and punchy engine.
Guys awesome review and im planning to go for this based on your review. One doubt during test ride is there is no headlight on off switch and the guy said the light will be always on. Wont this put a strain on the battery? Is this true what he said?

hmmm tough call, in terms of comfort, Avenger is better. Regarding durability, if you take care of your bike well by getting it serviced with a good technician, it would serve you well. My Pulsar 180 served me 6 years without giving me any major headache. Hornet is an excellent street fighter but for the same price you get looks similar to Harley Street 750 and more power, better comfort, decent mileage, and lower maintenance cost.

hi dino , nice video as usaul , one question though , is avenger a good option (me being 6ft in height) , height is only the major factor here.
Yes, up to 6 ft shouldn't be an issue bro, because though it gets low slung seating, the rider foot pegs are forward set, so for a person who is 6 ft tall it would be ideal. Please do test ride it first to check your comfort level.
if u are above 6feet, dont go for avenger, it will give you back pain
especially if you already have a pain issue in back!

Is there any change in the rear suspension as compared to the previous (2015-16) street 220. Can i replace the old susp. With the new one??
dino will mahindra mojo be good in terms of durability. have heard a lot of negative things in the forum in their own website.
If you are in doubt, better go with something that inspires confidence because once in doubt, even if anything minor happens, you'll start regretting buying the bike.

honda hornet is hopeless,street 220 is good..honda is just fooling indians by more pricy bikes...n low features..
Depends on what you're looking for, if you prefer a premium 160 cc bike, the Hornet is pretty impressive. It is slightly expensive though. Avenger Street 220 on the other hand offers so much more. It has the looks of a Harley, a super refined engine, unbelievable saddle comfort, can be enjoyed in city as well as on highways, overall maintenance cost too is lower compared to that of the Hornet.

I wanted to purchase same KAWASAKI BAJAJ AVENGER 220CC here in Philippines, as I wanted to upgrade from HONDA CB110 to AVENGER 220cc FOR BIGGER engine Displacement. and from sport to cruiser bike. But do you think it's really good and worth the money to buy it?I heard Bajaj having a hard time importing spare parts here in Manila, may be that could be an issue too. thunderbird is class apart..but this is value for money
hands down thunderbird or classic 350...avenger is not meant for people above 5'11....
if u are above 5'11 and want a crusider/commuter go for classic 350 or thunderbird

VARUN GUPTA if you mainly commute in the city I suggest going for street. Windscreen is available as an add on accessory for around ₹2k. Also Street 220 comes with factory fitted tubeless tires in the recently manufactured models at no extra cost. Cruise 220 doesn't get tubeless tires
