Lots of stairs, up, down, out in the field. Nice work of it in the end. You got some wonderful closeups Alan. The brake in the coach was a good idea back when except the driver doesn't control it in the modern day. I am with you, the Deltic must burn huge reservoirs of fuel. Even while idling, they kept the engines turning over at a fast clip. It was a very enjoyable video, Rob
O dear ..forgetting that brake !!! ...made a nice departure though after ...those continental coaches are rather nice ..even a garden model railways there ..plenty for all to see ...still think the sound of a deltic is one of the best ...Dave
Hi Dave ,,, Ya lovely weekend with having 3 locos running ,,, and as you say the sound of the Detic Napier engine is awesome amazing engineering with 3 crankshafts and the throaty deep rumble as the power builds up is just amazing ,,,, It made a smashing change ,,,

You enjoy dashing about making vids, as I do Alan. Just remember after a major rebuild, most machines have teething problems. Even Scotsman despite mans best efforts.
Yes in away good fun Dashing back and forth ,,,,but a bit of a shame never the less that Thomas seems to have a bit of a problem but im sure it can't be anything too serious ,,,
Lots of interesting bits and pieces, Alan. Thanks for taking the time to shoot them and share them.
Great vid Alan, love the sound of the Deltic...they were really giving it the beans in that last shot!
