fun fact for poppt: you can set up a shield break with pyra by down airing their shield and then down smash it will most likely always break the shield but if not it will do a lot of shield damage the down smash doesnt even have to be fully charged
Personally, I recommend you stick to Lucina/Ness if you plan to win because players are a lot more patient/observational (like Hive Mind) when there's something on the line and your inexperience with Pyra/Mythra beyond the fundamental approach of your character (how to react/adapt when your traditional gameplan doesn't work and the other player is comfortable with the timing of your character) definitely shows to me from this video. Though I'm no expert, maybe I'm just an idiot but that's my take because you asked haha. Hope you find this useful :)
When I first started playing Mythra/Pyra it took me about an hour to realise that she is busted. I told my buddy, he wasn't sure but now he hates fighting me (it's mainly just Mythra/Pyra nowadays). I hadn't seen a lot of people saying she was good which surprised me because I thought it was fairly evident. I love how you actually think she is good and how you consider playing her at the world tournament. I can't wait to see what you do with her next! I love your content, keep it going. Playing as Pythra is a great way to quickly prepare yourself to fight them in the tourney. No idea if that's actually true, but if it is that's a totally legit reason to keep having fun.
Love that you can quite easily make a 70-100% combo with pyra. Side b, footstool, jab lock and repeat until kill percent. Works if the opponent can not tech haha
I honestly find it uncanny how fun I had playing them. When the reveal came out, I was like, "Oh ok. They're just like. Pokemon trainer with a form switch. NBD. Nothing new." Playing them and it's super weird how actually hella fun they are for me.
Mythra is like Sheik + Lucina and Pyra is like Ganon + Lucina. They feel crazy. I think they're definitely overhyped a little bit cuz new DLC and they haven't been fully figured out yet but I think they're still high tier at LEAST.
Nearly all of Pyra's attacks can kill the cast at around 130% (heavies excluded). You can litterally just throw out a bunch of moves when you're opponent is at kill%, if a random one hits it pretty much always kills.
Hey Poppt1 thanks for uploading smash videos love them also I have become a better smash Bros Ultimate player thanks to your tips and stuff also I main prya and mythra love them alot even got them into elite Smash.
I think both of them combined are high tier because I can tell that having great frame data, great range, disjointed hitboxes, amazing mobility, and great kill power combined is really good, but do to the fact that they're still pretty new I wouldn't want to say their top tier. Also their recovery is pretty exploitable.
Everyone was screaming "OH MY GOODNESS STEVE IS GONNA BE BROKEN!" or loads of other DLC characters that had a few good moves then everyone was just excited for this like the first DLC character nobody was saying was gonna be OP but then this is the only character that ends up truly OP
I'm happy to see more Pythra content, I think for the World Tour play whoever you think is your best as of right now. But I feel a lot of your stuff is only working because of internet lag, when offline is back most people are going to block Side B and block when they see you fishing for kills with Pyra. Everyone seems to think their top tier, so I guess I'll go with that popular opinion, although my gut reaction is that they're on the border of Top Tier and High Tier since they have bad recoveries and can't edgeguard amazingly well either.

They are really good, efficient characters, but rather easily gimped or edge guarded. I would say they are solid A-tier together.
But mizups are something to consider when recovering
