I know Michael well enough to know he’d utterly disclaim the title, but in this, our shared dream, I consider him an Angel in the service of Bhagavan.

You're not just an ordinary person Michael, you're an amazing man who has done so much important work in translating and clarifying Bhagavan's teachings. I can't thank you enough 🙏🕉

I am quite sure Michael prefers to be ordinary rather than amazing. In fact Michael tries hard to let go of the idea that he is a person at all. Any attributes like ordinary or amazing are irrelevant.

Michael is far more patient with people than I . I am amazed how many times Michael James says something in a video and a comment comes up asking the EXACT question that he had spoken about .

It is always easier to see the blind spots in others than in oneself. Fortunately Bhagavan shows us with the awareness of our likes and dislikes where our blind spots are and therefore we can stop projecting outwards (being bothered by others) and instead turn within.

cindyscott8470, I think it's easy to find that bothersome. Michael’s answers are precise and complete, but some of the resulting paraphrasing and comments don’t reflect that care. Since Michael says here that he's just a person like us, so then his time and efforts are limited just like us. Just because he is kind, we should not ask him to expend his knowledge and explanations wastefully, we must do our part and try to listen and try think about it carefully.
But for us too, we can refocus on the teachings and when we do that, we will get better at the practice, for our own sake. (And the more carefully we practice, the less bothered we will be.)

@@user-qk6iz4fx7b Maybe I understand, but I'm not sure what's meant when you say ‘live in’. But if you meant: "when you think [your real self] is this [body] and mind, of course everything will annoy the mind", then mostly yes, I agree. Bhagavan mentions ‘duḥkha’. In part of paragraph fourteen of Nāṉ Ār?:
'When the mind comes out [from ātma-svarūpa], it experiences duḥkha [dissatisfaction, discomfort, uneasiness, unpleasantness, unhappiness, distress, suffering, sorrow, sadness, pain or affliction]. In truth, whenever our thoughts [wishes or hopes] are fulfilled, it [the mind] turns back to its proper place [the heart, our real nature, which is the source from which it rose] and experiences only ātma-sukha [happiness that is oneself].'
