Man i have been DREADING this on my VB, i have it sitting up on the bows, with some pinchweld holding it, qns i haven't had the motivation to go any further. I will watch this and hopefully i can take some inspiration from you!!++
Fantastic video mate. I have been dreading this on my wagon. I only have one query, how far did you go with the glueing? Was it glued at all points of contact and did you use any rollers to prevent creasing?
I only glued door frames and tops of the front and back windows. You need some moment when adding in the rest of the trims. No rollers needed, the pinch weld holds it tight.
Looks good Trav Just a question, not to be smart, but i just noticed the rear speaker holes. Are you leaving as is, which i understand as parcel shelf will cover or repair? I am going to fix mine when in panel shop as they have similar holes that someone has made for 6×9 speakers, just a suggestion, thats all as the car is looking really good overall and you have done a great job so far, hats off to you mate😊
If you get a chance, can you do a short vid on your external fuel pump set up, Im having trouble where to set it up, mines a wagon, turned into a panel van. thanks old mate, looks good.
@@TAVOTravsDIYGarage Mines still in undercoat, been on the road for 11 years as a van, then put the 5ltr in last year, been a head ache, just have to sort out the fuel pump. plan to paint it basic white.
So good. Tight fit 👌👌👌
Not bad for home made hey.
Another awesome upload!

Thanks buddy, was planning on keeping 6x9 for the parcel shelf so just going to redo the parcel shelf to cover up the hack job 👍🏻
Nice job will you be fixing the speaker holes in the parcel shelf someone's hacked into them
Yeah they’re pretty hack up. Cheers 🍻
You have got to be happy with that result. 👍

Yes I can do that for you mate. Is Your panel van the purple one I see on Facebook on one of the commodore pages?
