+Leo 1509 I disagree but don't feel like going back and forth. You feel like a Marvel guy. Not a fanboy but a marvel guy. Days of Futures Past, and Deadpool and other movies were good from WB/Fox. IronMan 3 and Thor will get will get a pass tho.
I'm kinda disappointed to see that Deadpool did so much better, financially, than even the good X-Men movies. I did like Deadpool, and I like a little zany humour, but I'd rather watch a "serious", dramatic superhero movie starring amazing actors like Fassbender and McAvoy any day.
Apocalypse wasn't serious though, it was a tone-deaf mess. Not terrible and certainly not as awful as BvS was, but it got the reviews and box office numbers it deserved.
It certainly was compared to Deadpool. I characterize a serious movie as one in which the characters take themselves and whatever conflict they face seriously, as though it were real life. *Spoilers.* Magneto was most definitely "serious" when he lost his family, for example; and so was Xavier when he was begging for Jean's help at the end.
David Marshall Yes, those are serious and mature moments. However you can't really use that word to describe the entire movie since it was, as I said before, tone-deaf. One moment Magneto is cradling his dead wife and daughter, the next Quicksiver is moonwalking around the X mansion. It wasn't bad it was just mediocre.
Are people honestly blaming Amber Heard for killing Depp's career? He's been doing that himself for years now with dreadful performances like Willy Wonka and Sweeney Todd. Who even watched Mortdecai or the Lone Ranger? He even appeared in Jack & Jill which just shows how far gone his career actually is.
I dont like the idea of movies making money based on their actors. I dont watch movies based on the famous people in them. I watch the trailer, read the plot and that helps me decide. Everybody else should do the same too : /
its not just that though people also go by the vibe of the trailer ive noticed people are more prone to see something that looks fun more so then some epic drama
Just wanted to say how much I appreciate you changing up the format so we can have a longer discussions. Yes I said we because your videos do a very good job of engaging viewers in my opinion. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
Well, as far as any other Godzilla movie, it was damn good compared to any that had come before *COUGHgodzilla98! And these are mearly our opinions. But obviously, the execs at Disney thought highly enough of Edwards work on Godzilla and Monsters to let him direct the first stand alone Star Wars film. And I think most would agree the Rogue One trailer looked amazing!
I have a couple of points I want to make / ask. - You said something about a movie that hasn`t done well in the domestic box office, but has done well here in overseas....I got a feeling that it doesn`t matter if a movie does well overall, if it bombs in domestic box office. - You also said again that CGM is box office poison and after the last video you said that I looked up CGM box office numbers (after all, she`s my favourite actor). thanks for this numbers. I always try to check them out myself but this really helps! You're so informative and a great spokeswoman. I'm glad I found you. BTW has anyone told you, you look just like Susan Storm?
I actually think Rotten Tomatoes is a good way to get a consensus of how other people may think about a film, or how others feel about it, I think it should mainly have an influence on whether or not to go see a film and not how you should feel about it. I do think that you should definitely form your own opinion on a movie and watch it for yourself but at the same time a critic just might help save you some money.
Rotten Tomatoes is a lot better than in the old days when you got one critic in the newspaper and perhaps one critic on TV if you watched in the weird hours they ran a review show. Hop on Rotten Tomatoes and you can read a few good review and a few bad reviews to figure out if the problems are going to be a problem for you or if the problems aren't going to be a deal breaker. Heck it's been worth dropping by once a week just to find out about the good movies that dropped the ball on marketing.
As an old X-titles fan, I found Apocalypse to be a really enjoyable film. For me it was on the same level as Civil War...they both follow the comics about the same amount. LOL. But both were fun to watch!
Grace I have a question🤗🤗🤗🤗 why haven't big companies hire you to advise them. I mean you're so smart and you can see obvious mistakes and you have a pretty good track record predicting hits and flops. But anyways love your show 😍 keep doing what you doing!
Wow Grace, when you say "Beyond the Trailer" you really mean it. This is really interesting stuff. You've really thought all this stuff out - I'm impressed. I don't understand why some knuckleheads would give this video a thumbs down?? Prolly just creepy trolls. You're putting out really good videos & I appreciate the insight. I am not surprised that X-men Apocalypse did poorly since Days of Future and First Class were better films and all of the other competition that they had to face. The new X-men deserves it rotten tomatoes score. I do think that BvS was a better film in my opinion.
Man I hate they call out the critics for trying to "sabotage" a movie, blockbusters work like this. Not all of them are critically beloved because they are just not that good. Personal taste has nothing to do with it, movies have structures that make them good art, like a painting.
I personally loved it. Was a great homage to the original. I can see why people didn't care for it, mainly because we followed a lackluster hero during this epic event. Cranston should've stayed the whole way through, that way his death could've been more impactful. He needed to redeem his past failures. Which were brought up and then forgotten. That's the script not the directing... Everyone freaking out of Rouge 1 reshoots are overreacting. There's reshoots for almost all big movies now a days. Marvel and DC alike as well as other big tent poll films.
+TheAngelinaSummer it probably will be good, but I just can't get excited for it. A spin-off about getting the Death Star plans just feels really unnecessary.
+FlyingFocs I see your point and initially I felt the same way, but I'm a huge Stars Wars fan so I'll be seeing it regardless of the plot and the overall necessity of the film itself haha. But hopefully Gareth Edwards puts together a movie that people aren't so divided about.
X-Men Apocalypse did 266 Million World Wide! 80 millions on the US. Let's not forget that X-Men Apocalypse premiered on a lot of countries 2 weeks before the USA. It's just wrong to consider only domestic market on movie box office performance, mainly because for years the profit has been more than double World Wide.
I wonder if there is any significance to the movie being available for free viewing online way before its US release? It sure seemed like there was negative buzz online because of that in the weeks prior.
Hey Grace, how did you feel about the special effects in X-Men? My friend kept saying the certain scenes mirrored that of cheap video games. He specifically mentioned the shipyard in the end of the movie, and Angel assisting Psylocke in the air.
Hi Grace just watched X-men for the 3rd time. And i was trying to read between the lines and there's a thing that definitely caught my eye. Remember when Apocalypse said "All will be revealed my children" when he and the horsemen took Charles in the X Mansion outside Cerebro, and Jean having that fiery nightmare? Well, i think everything is a lead up to Dark Phoenix. When Moira told Hank that someone is much powerful than Charles the shot did not immediately came back to Apocalypse but to Jean Grey, when she, Cyclops and Nightcrawler found the war plane. Then after that shot it then went back to Apocalypse. Also, Apocalypse went inside the mind of Charles when he was in Cerebro and he saw what Charles saw in Jean Grey's fiery nightmare and Apocalypse assumes that it is him doing all that "cleansing" per se the world. But I believed that Jean will definitely become the Dark Phoenix, she even said that she might hurt somebody. And lastly when Apocalypse and Jean finally face off, and Jean unleashed the Phoenix Force he said "All is revealed". And he seems like not trying to fight anymore. What does he mean by revealed? I think he finally thought that the world he wanted to cleanse will not be his doing but Jean as the Dark Phoenix will, with the fiery nightmare and Jean as the Phoenix he seems to connect the dots. Do you think they will play this out on the next X-Men film? Or after Nathaniel Essex/ Mr. Sinister playing Jean and Scott DNA that would trigger the Dark Phoenix inside her? I Would love to hear your discussion about it.
Hi Grace, I have a question for you, how much does weather play a part in Boxoffice numbers? Memorial Day weekend here in the upper midwest was hot (80s) and just 2 weekends prior we had SNOW flurries - yes I said snow! I know my family and I were outside every day catching up on yard work. We also went hiking and swimming in the lake of a State park that had open swimming. This is also the weekend that kicks off summer camping and to get boats out for the season. We did go see Alice through the looking glass, but that was Monday night and the whole theater was empty! I would love to hear your thoughts - please, please, pretty please with chocolate sauce on top! ♡♡♡♡♡♡
There is no fatigue, people just want to see good movies based off of comic books/graphic novels; not cheap imitations that are poorly written. Lastly, I like your new format Grace.
because its real civil war had to have every mcu character all most to get people there i like the film but lets not kid the film only did as well as it did because of the entire mcu cast all most being in it as well as the first spierman in the mcu doctor strange wont make any were close to that
BoomStick Critique that's beyond the point. The topic is "superhero fatigue", regardless is they throw a legion of characters in it. Ultimately it's a movie based on superheroes. People are obviously still going out in flocks to see it.
no it isnt the point is any movie with a hundred fan fav characters will do well it wasnt because it was a superhereo movie that it did well people diddnt go see it because hey lets see that superhereo film they went because lets see that film with all those characters in it if a superhereo film has to have that many characters just to be a hit its a sign of its getting old
BoomStick Critique dude, we're talking about a genre. Look at what Deadpool did just a few months ago. Now it's the highest grossing R rated film of all time. What's your excuse then? Because he's new? There's no signs of "fatigue" on a large scale. If you personally are fatigued with the films then that's a different story. As a whole that's definitely not the case. One could argue that Apocalypse didn't perform so well because the trailers were terrible and critical reception wasn't good.
Warcraft is not released everywhere in europe yet. It opens coming Thursday in the Netherlands, and I got my ticket already! :D The reviews from viewers (not critics) are generally positive!
Avery Amell the horrendeous critic score might still ruin it. I can't even believe it: 18%. Sure, it's not a perfect movie, but it's by no means Uwe Boll level of ridiculous.
The Nice Guys was SUCH a good move. SO GOOD. This was the wrong release window for it. They should have slated it for the Fall or Spring. It would have done much better.
Overall, RT can affect the box office and Apocalypse might've done better with a higher score. People jumped on the bandwagon as soon as the negative reviews came in. I would still hope that Disney is planning on making a Maleficient 2, but with a better story to redeem the first one and to help the word of mouth. I really enjoyed Angeline Jolie as Maleficient.
I like the new format of Movie Math. I hope it continues. But yes, I am experiencing superhero movie fatigue, looking forward to Bourne, Star Trek, anything besides vague retelling of comic book stories that I've either already read or am familiar.
For me, CA:CW wasn't as good as critics said, but it was still good; BvS wasn't as bad as critics said, and was fair; and X-Men: Apocalypse wasn't bad at all, contrary to critics.
Casting The Ancient One was a no win position for Marvel. If they would have cast an Asian to play the part the same people bitching about whitewashing would be bitching about a stereotypical Asian character. I too noticed the Inception-ness. Hopefully they keep that to a minimum. I just want to see a decent Doc Strange movie before I die. I still want to see the movie the Wes Craven might have made in the 90s when he had optioned the book..
I don't know how they are released in other countries but it seems that in my country the production companies have better representatives/deals to curve out the release schedule. Big examples being X-Men and Alice and BVS and My big Fat Greek Wedding 2 being released on different weekends instead of the same one. X-men was released a week earlier in Greece
Funny how Hollywood is still pushing that Warcraft will fail at the box office. Considering that Warcraft is breaking box office numbers internationally. Premiering number one is most international releases. Hitting top 5 ALL TIME premier box office in several markets. Beating both Captain America: Civil War and Batman v. Superman, with only Deadpool doing better in 2016. Yet, Hollywood continues to insist Warcraft will fail in the US.
Grace do you think it might be because it's all so close to eachother? A friend of mine had to choose between seeing Civil war or X-men, and civil war came first. I mean, these first 5 months alone we had deadpool, BvS, Civil War, Apocalypse. which all target the same demographic.
Gareth Edwards did a horrible job with Godzilla? That makes absolutely no sense. He did a phenomenal job with that film and showed he understands what he's working with
Grace what do you think of Hollywood no longer using music videos to help sell movie tickets like they use to i.e. Will Smith-MEN IN BLACK,WILD,WILD West, they use to put out weeks before a major movie release a hit soundtrack to go along with the film Why did Hollywood stop????
if i'd live in the US then I would see me before you and popstar next weekend. but me before you comes out at the end of june over here and popstar doesn't even have a release date yet. i really wantbto see both of them
I have an idea for your show (I never said good idea now), when a movie announces it's cast you should predict what it's opening weekend will be (you may want to wait to hear its proposed release date that would be up to you) and then the week before it hits cinemas you can show what the experts box office projections are vs your prediction (from months ago), and then we can see how well the movie actually does and compare it to the two predictions. You seem confident in predicting poor box office and think execs should be able to see it well in advance from the casting, so lets put you to the test , might be fun. Feel free to ignore.
I saw the movie. There was the scene where they're leaving Return Of The Jedi, and were cracking on 3rd movies in a franchise being the worst. After the movie, my friend Wyatt told me they were taking a jab at 'Last Stand.' I said, "really. I thought they were taking a jab at themselves."
Grace I'm curious, why you left Alice in Wonderland off of Depp's list? That movie made $1 billion (though I've no idea how), so expecting a sequel with those same elements to at least do well makes some sense to me. Maybe that was just lightning in a bottle. I love your point about Box Office Mojo :D
i LOVED Maleficent. I didnt expect to like it when i first saw the trailer but now after watching it 100 times its in my top 10 favorite movies of all time.
From one movie nerd to another: I loved this detailed analysis! I remember Cinemablend hyping the crap out of Alice in Wonderland 2 as possibly one of the highest earning movies of 2016, which tells me not to read any of those misinformed analyses again. Alice in Wonderland was charming & wacky enough (not through any help from Jonny Depp) that I gave it 3/5 stars. Same with Maleficient, which I thought was more reliant on Jolie's impressive turn as a bad witch turned stern guardian of enemy. They were their own properties & shouldn't be spoiled with a sequel. I haven't watched any of Depp's recent movies barring Lone Ranger (which was much better & funnier than the critics made it out to be) & Pirates 4 (boy am I psyched for Pirates 5...an excellent director, Will Turner's return & Javier Bardem as the villain: You have to be a moron to screw that combo up!). Also on Apocalypse: yes the villain was underwhelming compared to the doom he brings in the comics, but the rest of the movie was fantastic. Anybody comparing it to BvS, quality wise, is deluded.
Haven't seen Xmen yet but I am seeing it tomorrow. Kind of surprised it didn't match Days of Future Past. As for Alice I didn't expect it to make as much money as the first but didn't expect it to go that low which I think is sad because I thought it was a better film than the first Alice. Oh well I still enjoyed it and will be buying it. As for Maleficent 2 I think that they should make it just because I'd love to see Angelina play the tole again as she was perfect for it
speak on it look at rogue in the comics even in the cartoon why they never give her no love they still haven't done wolverine right in my opinion and why can't they be in the same outfit/uniforms from the comics look captain america uniform they kept updating it until they got it right, same thing with ironman suit even thor stop being cheap and make these characters look like they they jumped of the pages that would help also just think of how kool it would be to see a trailer of these characters look the same way they look in the comics....and get that stupid ass director out of there already...... maybe it's just me
***** When are you geniuses gonna STOP whining about who has the fucking rights. ANY studio is capable of making a good or bad film. And Marvel has made plenty of crap ones too.
Grace you always seem to think if a movie doesn't go well, it's somehow the actors fault. There are so many more MAJOR reasons why movies fail or succeed at the box office.
Nice coverage, can you do this every weekend or two? I saw civil war and jungle book two times, i think those two, and deadpool are my fave for this year so far.. Probably for the weekend I'd see TMNT, not a fan of bay or the way he create the first one and those hideous turtles (someone reboot this) but more to nostalgic reason.. Saw xmen apocalypse and i think the RT score is too harsh.. I think 65 is just, the least of my fave among DOFP and first class
this video kept my attention all the way through. it takes a certain type of nerd to love hearing about the movie business for 17 minutes.
:) I'm glad you enjoyed the new format!
Loving it grace
Especially when it's about blockbuster flops of today, and #FLOPSOFTOMORROW:/
I actually don't go to the end of all of these videos she is just very good at presenting it
thank you for not being one of those girls who talk in those super anoying voice trying to be cute
Ow shit a 17 min movie math?! let me get my snacks..this is gonna be good
YEAH 🍿☕️
I was 14 minutes into the video and I didn't even realize it was almost over lol
I love X men: Apocalypse and BvS I don't give a what critics say!!!
+Leo 1509 How mean
+Leo 1509 No, maybe you are ? Having his own opinion is good thing.
BvS > Apocalypse
true
How the hell did you make a box office number video so entertaining? You really know the industry. Keep this up it's great.
:) Aw thanks!
Grace, could you please make a list of your top 10 box office poisons (actors, directors, producers) with their poor numbers.
Why wait for Grace lets get it stared with Adam Sandler
Chris Hemsworth
Zac Efron
Emily Blunt
Taylor Kitsch
Adam Sandler then Zack Snyder.
At 3:47 she hits her arm on the table, but keeps going. You know that shit defiantly hurt. Lol
Lmao
I'm kinda disappointed to see that Deadpool did so much better, financially, than even the good X-Men movies.

Hollywood has been doing this for decades. Decades!
+King Wizard ♔ yep
Yes true but a lot of people watch certain movies based on who is in them. Look at a lot of Seth Rogans movies as examples lol.
also Melissa McCarthy
its not just that though people also go by the vibe of the trailer ive noticed people are more prone to see something that looks fun more so then some epic drama
You bashed Godzilla but defended BvS? THE HELL...
Just wanted to say how much I appreciate you changing up the format so we can have a longer discussions. Yes I said we because your videos do a very good job of engaging viewers in my opinion. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
Since when is 74% on rotten tomatoes for Godzilla a "terrible job"? Get your facts straight Grace.
Well said.
After her insane BvS conspiracy theory, Facts and Grace are no longer on speaking terms.
Yeah, had to stop watching after she said that. Godzilla was great! And she is the only person I have ever heard say otherwise.
+Kenneth Bressler Godzilla was average at best! The trailers looked great but the movie was a huge disappointment, it was so dull
You never dissapointment with your analysis. Very thoughtful, professional and rational approach to this week's box office results :)
Subscribed to this channel a few days ago.
One of my best TH-cam channels !!
Yay! Welcome! :)
Beyond The Trailer :)
I have a couple of points I want to make / ask.

The 5th Wave did ok (110 million), and she was the movies main selling point, unlike in Neighbours.
And a movie like Laggies, it did have also Keira Knightley and was horrible at the B O
And I bet the Little Mermaid will have a huge box office succes
I really liked how you did today's episode grace!! Thanks for all you do and i hope this format stays, movie math is my favorite of the channel
People are tired of comic book movies that reflect nothing on the actual comics, look at deadpool, they nailed it and it paid off
well said. also, with the ex high frequency of comic book movies, more viewers are discerning and rely heavily on reviews to determine re-watchability of these movies.
Precisely. Give us Yellow Wolverine! Gives us the strong female Rogue! Stay true to the comics and we will love you.
I see what ur saying, and I agree . apocalypse was a good movie, but changed up too much stuff. I liked the acting, I liked the Imagery, but not the 'new' story so much.
actually there have been PLENTY of people who said x-men apocalypse is one of the closest to feeling like a comic book.
+LightHawk000 Yeah, it's performing exactly like an avengers movie. Because a $170 million opening weekend is just the same as a $210 million one.
I LOVE this new format Grace! Please keep it!!!
Not a big fan of your film reviews, but theses number breakdowns you do are Really Good .. Keep up the good work
movie math has a new format. permanent or just for today?
Permanent!
+Beyond The Trailer I like this new format. I love how you call out Rotten Tomatoes Grace. P.S. I had you're back with that Twitter beef.
Beyond The Trailer good, now I dare to say I prefer this version! It has a more casual feel (and I guess is less time consuming in regards of editing)
Really great and engaging delivery of new Grace!
I like and enjoy your movie math box office videos. I like the new format too. Keep putting this kind of content, we keep watching it.
Movie Math: Great programme today. I love the new high-tech visuals and more detailed look.
Rachel McAdams weepy? I dieded. XD
I liked X-Men: Apocalypse better than X-Men: Days Of Future Past. I give X-Men: Apocalypse a 9.3 out 10. I was very impressed.
Thanks Grace for a very good and informative video. I share many of the points you brought up.
Glad I'm subscribed! You seem like you know what you're talking about and really love what you're doing such as your xmen videos.
thanks for this numbers. I always try to check them out myself but this really helps! You're so informative and a great spokeswoman. I'm glad I found you. BTW has anyone told you, you look just like Susan Storm?
is anyone else tired of hearing about the significance of rotten tomatoes their critics form your own opinion if u like the movie screw everyone else
I actually think Rotten Tomatoes is a good way to get a consensus of how other people may think about a film, or how others feel about it, I think it should mainly have an influence on whether or not to go see a film and not how you should feel about it.
Thank you for this!
Informative, and entertaining, cause you know, Grace :)
Great chat as always Grace.
I need more of this analysis. This was great!!!
I'm so glad you enjoyed it! :) Movie Math will go back to being weekly with this new format.
As an old X-titles fan, I found Apocalypse to be a really enjoyable film. For me it was on the same level as Civil War...they both follow the comics about the same amount. LOL. But both were fun to watch!

+Nicholas Nagawiecki Which is sad. I would rather they start creating original live action fairytales because Disney has a bad track record with sequels to their fairytales and I'd hate for something like Maleficent and Jungle Book for have the same fate as Alice TTLG.
Did you forget all the sequels Disney did for the fairy tales? The only thing that is weird, is how fast the live actions sequels are being made.
You think Disney is worried about money?
+aero roger still, Disney can suffice off their movies with no problems.
Very accurate math work. For this weekend, Me Before You is totally getting my box office budget money.
I am not surprised that X-men Apocalypse did poorly since Days of Future and First Class were better films and all of the other competition that they had to face. The new X-men deserves it rotten tomatoes score. I do think that BvS was a better film in my opinion.
You nailed it.
What a sensational analysis! If I knew a studio head, I'd tip them off to hire you before green lighting projects. So smart.
Man I hate they call out the critics for trying to "sabotage" a movie, blockbusters work like this. Not all of them are critically beloved because they are just not that good. Personal taste has nothing to do with it, movies have structures that make them good art, like a painting.
am I the only one that LIKED Godzilla 2014???
I personally loved it. Was a great homage to the original. I can see why people didn't care for it, mainly because we followed a lackluster hero during this epic event. Love & Friendship has 99% approval and the Lobster has 91% on rottentomatoes. So yeah critics like the first one better.
Great episode Grace!
Apocalypse is my favorite film of the year so far.
I love your videos! they are very entertaining.
Love it! Good job!
I Would love to hear your discussion about it.
totally agree w you about the lobster, grace!!! would love to see it available in more theatres, and I live in the greater Los Angeles market! 🙋🏼🙋🏼🙋🏼
Hi Grace,
I have a question for you, how much does weather play a part in Boxoffice numbers? Memorial Day weekend here in the upper midwest was hot (80s) and just 2 weekends prior we had SNOW flurries - yes I said snow! I know my family and I were outside every day catching up on yard work. We also went hiking and swimming in the lake of a State park that had open swimming. This is also the weekend that kicks off summer camping and to get boats out for the season. We did go see Alice through the looking glass, but that was Monday night and the whole theater was empty! I would love to hear your thoughts - please, please, pretty please with chocolate sauce on top! ♡♡♡♡♡♡
Disney knows kid friendly movies is where the money is.
There is no fatigue, people just want to see good movies based off of comic books/graphic novels; not cheap imitations that are poorly written. Lastly, I like your new format Grace.
Civil War is past $1.1 Billion and still rising. Why do people still bring up the superhero fatigue topic?
because its real civil war had to have every mcu character all most to get people there i like the film but lets not kid the film only did as well as it did because of the entire mcu cast all most being in it as well as the first spierman in the mcu doctor strange wont make any were close to that
BoomStick Critique that's beyond the point.
Eddie Brock
apocalypse diddnt do that well because people dont care about those movies unless wolverine is the star
Awesome show, I very much enjoined X-Men: Apocalypse. I plan to see Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows this weekend.
no news regarding warcraft breaking records in europe?
The only place Warcraft is breaking (negative) records is on Rotten Tomatoes.
Seriously. Who gives a crap about records in Europe AND China! Other than Studios.
Who gives a fuck about rotten tomatoes. The movie is exellent and the eu box office prooves it.
Sure, it's not a perfect movie, but it's by no means Uwe Boll level of ridiculous.
why isn't this on the movie math channel Grace? Either way great video as always! Keep being awesome!
I think Apocalypse didn't do so well based on its own merit. It just didn't feel like the proper conclusion to the trilogy. Very divisive film.
I like the new format of Movie Math. I hope it continues. But yes, I am experiencing superhero movie fatigue, looking forward to Bourne, Star Trek, anything besides vague retelling of comic book stories that I've either already read or am familiar.
Like the new shirt and format grace and this weekend I'm seeing ninja turtles 2 with my dad father/son bonding
Forgot to add that I will be seeing Turtles this weekend as I thought the first was decent fun entertainment and this looks fun as well
I noticed all the movies you listed by Disney. Why didn't you list Tarzan? Or is it not a disney movie? Im confused lol.
For me, CA:CW wasn't as good as critics said, but it was still good; BvS wasn't as bad as critics said, and was fair; and X-Men: Apocalypse wasn't bad at all, contrary to critics.
But Xmen actually did well with the audience compared to the critic score.
*Dr Strange*
I didnt like the whitewashing at first... I heard the reasons they had... I get it.
What scares me is the huge resemblance to Inception
meh inception is just a ripoff of Paprika
Glad to see Movie Math is back
I liked Alice, screw the critics, except for you Grace, you are awesome
Grace sounds so cute when she says "also..." LoL
Lots of movies have reshoots, so it doesn't mean disaster.
I'm planning to see Ninja Turtles this weekend. It looks like it's going to be a lot of fun.
Have you been doing these every week? I'm genuinely asking... I wasn't sure
Did you do an oops, and upload this on the wrong channel Grace? lol :P
I hope the Depp thing pans out. I want someones safety over business matters.
Gareth Edwards did a horrible job with Godzilla? That makes absolutely no sense. He did a phenomenal job with that film and showed he understands what he's working with
lets hope the international numbers for x men come in stronger! this deserves better!
I'm looking forward to Maleficent 2. Not sure what the plot will be but I enjoyed the 1st one a lot!
I think Dr. Strange will do fabulously at the Theater.
i LOVED Maleficent. I didnt expect to like it when i first saw the trailer but now after watching it 100 times its in my top 10 favorite movies of all time.
Gareth Edwards did a "horrible" job with Godzilla?! Um are you sure you're feeling well Grace?
LOVE THIS EPISODE
Anybody comparing it to BvS, quality wise, is deluded.
tbh I don't read comics so I understand when people say they are getting bored of the superhero genre
I really wish there was an R-rated TMNT movie!!!!
As for Maleficent 2 I think that they should make it just because I'd love to see Angelina play the tole again as she was perfect for it
'Apocalypse' sucked. Singer is clearly fatigued and he has no respect for the characters.
speak on it look at rogue in the comics even in the cartoon why they never give her no love they still haven't done wolverine right in my opinion and why can't they be in the same outfit/uniforms from the comics look captain america uniform they kept updating it until they got it right, same thing with ironman suit even thor stop being cheap and make these characters look like they they jumped of the pages that would help also just think of how kool it would be to see a trailer of these characters look the same way they look in the comics....and get that stupid ass director out of there already...... maybe it's just me
That's your feeble opinion
Doing the SAME damn things!
*****
When are you geniuses gonna STOP whining about who has the fucking rights. ANY studio is capable of making a good or bad film. And Marvel has made plenty of crap ones too.
tio borracho preach
Yes, with this new format I should be able to do this weekly again. Glad you enjoyed it!
I think you underestimate Popstar and the lonely Island / hot rod fan base. Especially since it went on Netflix, then got removed.
I was saving my money for TMNT 2 and maybe Popstar: Never Stop Popping
