“Coming back from……” WE ARE STILL IN THE PANDEMIC, even if the United States is trying to pretend otherwise. It’s genuinely frustrating to hear people nonchalantly mention the pandemic as if it’s in the past tense. Just know that if you say shit like that, you’re also saying the lives of people with disabilities or compromised immune systems don’t matter & you are engaging in eugenics based policies created by a government that cares more about rich people getting richer than engaging in basic policies to avoid the deaths of hundreds of thousands of people. Basically if this were Germany in WWII, we know how you would react (any that would be ignoring what’s going on around you and continuing your life bc you feel like it.)
I think, Keith crying, and actively acknowledging how powerful the moment was, when it was over- was so perfect. it speaks so much to his character. He is a grateful guy, it's absolutely clear in his personality and the way he treated this experience. Thank you Keith, and Try family, for sharing this moment with those of us who don't have this opportunity, and probably never will.
It comes with being an actor. It wasn’t mentioned in either video but Zack also went to college for acting. One of the tough/weird things about going to school for acting (which I’m currently doing) is knowing that anyone in your major is potential competition even once you graduate. Acting is an extremely competitive field that’s hard to make it in, we all go into this knowing that there’s a reason for the starving artist stereotype and that there’s more of a guarantee you won’t make it then you will. Everyone is obviously hopeful they will but no one expects to make it, so then seeing your best friend beat the odds and get a great opportunity you feel excited for them. It also doesn’t apply in this case but this industry is all about who you know, going to college for acting is largely just going to network. If one of your friends gets well known they can recommend you if you need to fill a role last minute or if a show is struggling to find a stage manager, so having friends succeed in turn kind of increases the chances you will too.
Im so happy how the other actors where so supportive, he didn’t have the biggest scene but did everyone made it feel like it was very special. I really hope they are like this with everyone, great video🫶✨
They really are like this with everyone! Anytime anyone debuts they get pulled centre stage for a bow, they're the most amazingly supportive cast and crew!
I remember when Colleen Ballinger was on broadway she talked about how scared she was that the people would be snooty etc, but she said people were just straight up theatre kids and it felt like all the years of theatre she'd done before. Just that everyone were unbelievably talented! Ofc there is gonna be divas here and there, but I honestly think most just love doing it.
A comedy musical like Beetlejuice was the best show they could’ve done this episode with. I love how the cast and crew encouraged Keith and made him feel welcome.
@@yyg4632 all the footage of keith’s broadway debut (not the rehearsal footage) was filmed in the first week of september, so they may have already known about the drama by then
I started crying, sobbing. I don't know why. I just felt Keith's happiness and loved that they let him have that moment. I'm so happy for him and loved that the cast was so accepting of him and did so much to make him feel special. His interaction with Dana as well. Loved it, cried, putting this in my favorite video folder
Theatre people are some of the most welcoming, funny, empathetic people..plus Keith's whole attitude is very gracious, kind, and good spirited the whole time which I'm sure warmed them to him and made them want the best experience for him from the get go
As a theater kid myself, it was incredibly rewarding to watch Keith go on Broadway. The entire time that he was going "I know this isn't that important a role, thank you guys for making it feel important, but it's important to me" I was going "YES EXACTLY THAT'S EXACTLY HOW THAT FEELS". I'm so glad that Keith got to perform on Broadway with such a great cast.
My tired self just somehow read “the whole cast couldn’t have been sweatier” Cut to me thinking “Really? they didn’t look sweaty at all to me.” Lol after re reading your comment couldn’t agree more lol
Who else cried when Keith started tearing up at the end. Keith, you, Zach, and Eugene (and Kwesi) ALL deserve to reach your dreams. I loved this video! Probably my favorite ever Try Guys video!
i was crying before he was. when he was on stage at the end even before they pulled him to the middle. congratulations Keith, this is my fav video ever.
Wait a minute I wasn’t expecting to full on cry when they pulled Keith center stage during curtain call and when he had his moment backstage with Rachel 😢 That was so lovely of the cast to do and so cool to see Keith have this amazing experience
Same here, this is one of the few times I cried watching a try guys video (that wasn't from laughing). It was so wholesome to watch and seeing how much it meant to Keith really made my day.
Y’all the amount of effort it must have taken to even produce this video is insane. The unions do not let anyone record a live performance, let alone post it publicly. Like this would’ve been a long talk with the producing company and unions so they can get a concession to even make this video. It’s honestly really impressive.
I was thinking this too! Broadway unions are crazy powerful and have a ton of rules (not a bad thing just a fact) kudos for the team for coordinating all this
the audition process was definitely just for show and an extra video hahaha they would've had to have long discussions way before this to have keith perform. nevermind they prob had to get performance insurance, print the pamphlet inserts, have the costumes made, pay the hair and makeup people extra, so much more stuff i'm missing probably
The also probably had to get the video itself approved before it was posted, meaning someone from the legal team for the show had to watch and approve what they did show, it's probably gone through several edits of what they could and could not show.
Why is nobody commenting how Zach knew exactly how Keith would feel? He said 'He's not gonna remember any of it' and there you have Keith exiting the stage and saying just that. Now that is friendship
12:09 When Keith passed the hair and makeup room and Tish shouted "yay keith!" I absolutely love how welcoming they all were to our favorite gangly boy
After all the Ned drama this is EXACTLY what we needed. I hope Keith takes this time to remember what he did was SO COOL and he deserves every bit of it❤
@@spilledsoju03 Yeah because a friend’s betrayal hurts. Sometimes you gotta do something good for yourself to make it better and this is that thing for Keith People will never stop talking about it due to how he did it and what he was in the group
Yeah, I'm extremely grateful it was Keith who won the part, and not Ned. The cast and crew were so welcoming, it would be a shame to throw the footage away.
Literally tearing up at Keith's joy. You can just feel his excitement, nervousness, and all out wonder at being able to do something he has always wanted. By the end I was actually crying with him.
i’m so glad keith got to have this moment, ik he said he was getting impostor syndrome but he really deserves it!! and when he started crying and the end and rachel hugged him, i started crying too
I've never not once come close to crying at a Try Guys video but this one really got me for some reason! I guess just that you could tell how much it really meant to him
As someone with social anxiety and really weak speaking skills, I’m always in awe of how easily Keith can chat with people and make them laugh and feel so at-ease. Like, he’s known these people for maybe a few days but he’s already charmed the pants off of them.
He really is one of those people that's just oozing charm out the wazoo. And not in that cocky way that almost seems distancing, but in a way that really puts people at ease and bring them in.
I can't get over how overwhelmingly nice everyone in that production was about this. They were so supportive without making a big deal out of it and it's just so sweet. I'm so glad Keith got this experience. Really teared up at the end. Loved these two episodes
I know Kwesi and Zach wanted it, but I think Keith wanted it the most, being that he has a big theatre background, and he really earned it. He was just simply the best and he just...ugh I love him so much and am so proud
Honestly made me sad though when he said he didn't disserve it but he does cause even though yeah he wouldn't of got it if he wasn't a try guy but he has put in the work that you cant dispute
@Abbie Underhill right?? I don't know how good he is at dancing, but he totally has a theater degree, an improv background and is very skilled at singing-barbershop harmonies aren't easy!
@@sadlittlebikerack well idk, but I'm pretty sure he said off Broadway (in the podcast) which Lewberger is an off broadway show and also bettlejuice is a broadway show. But dont quote me on that
The cast was so happy to help Keith have his Broadway star moment, and I love that. I know all of the Guys would have had a great time on stage, but this feels like it was extra meaningful to Keith.
@@abbeykennedy9760 shes so goofy, I love it! From the trying to break him, to the little prank at the very end of the video, the support, the love. ugh. shes so nice!
That feeling of the final bow in front of an audience is exhilarating for me in a tiny community theater, so I cannot imagine the absolute energy and shock and thrill running through Keith to have that final bow on freaking Broadway with such an amazing star filled cast and his friends supporting him from the sidelines
I've enjoyed a lot of Try Guys content over the past decade, but this is by FAR my favourite. Seeing Keith so genuinely happy, and having such a positive experience was so moving. You don't always realise how connected you are to the people you watch, but I was honestly just so proud and happy for Keith!
Thanks for the shot of serotonin, this was so wonderful to watch. I positively burst into tears when Alex brought Keith to the center for a bow. The cast was so warm and encouraging, and in the small snippets we saw of their performances, they are insanely talented. It made me so happy to see Keith live out every theater kid’s dream.
Seeing Zach and Kwesi so genuinely happy for Keith warmed my heart. Even though they didn't get to be in the show, they got to support their friend. And Keith, well, his happiness brought tears to my eyes. This might be the best Try Guys video yet.
UGH THANK YOU FOR MAKING THIS TWO PARTS. This is why I love theatre so much. They’re truly just the kindest people that really just want you to help you succeed… despite being a ridiculously cut-throat career that has no guarantees of success or money but all guarantees of blood, sweat, tears, and therapy lol. Happy for you, Keith, that you were able to experience this♥️
I love the professional atmosphere behind the scenes. Like, Keith was a visitor while everyone was doing their job. He wasn't the centre of attention. He went though the whole process just as any other actor in his role would do. No-one overreacted towards the fact that he is a famous youtube star. Everyone just working and focused on that. The whole custome segment with the wardrobe supervisor... like, Lee's attention was placed in doing his job, not acting for the camera. Great video
Keith absolutely deserved this SO MUCH. His eyes were just lit up the entire time and he was just so fucking happy. This was so cute. Ya'll gonna make me cry at the end of a video God damn. You did amazing Keith.
Phew. Hearing the tears in Keith’s voice made me bawl. I loved how Zach and Rachel supported him and helped him celebrate this incredible moment. This is one of my favorite Try Guys videos ever.
Started bawling, I can't lie... The amount of joy on Keith's face is incredible. And his friendship with Rachel, how she responded, was so beautiful. I'm really so so happy Keith got to experience this. He 100% deserved it.
Call it parasocial, but I got genuinely teary-eyed seeing Keith take his bow. I'm so damn proud of you, Keith! Zach and Kwesi did great in their auditions but Mover #3 was the role Keith was born to play!
It's not parasocial ( i know this is a funky genZ term that's been thrown around a lot nowadays) it's just being a human being. It's extremely, extremely normal to feel emotional when watching something emotional.
@@joyanna9433 Exactly! If my dad can watch one episode of extreme home makeover with people he don't know and cry, or I can watch a random fictional movie and get moved, why on earth can't we be happy for a stranger we've seen a lot of and know alot about? I can scroll by a random reel and get emotional without context. I don't feel that caring should the pathologized!
As a rejected theatre kid, this made me feel all sorts of good emotions, I am so proud to see Keith up on the big stage doing what he loves and you can absolutely see just how happy this makes him, I was already crying towards the end when he came off stage, but seeing the cast pull him to the center stage for the finale turned my eyes into a waterfall, that was incredibly kind of them to do that for him since the role was so small, I can only imagine just how big of impact this has made on him
i am SO GLAD another rejected theatre kid also cried because of this video. never thought a video of Keith being onstage would make me sob like a baby, but here I am.
Rachel is the proud momma for the Guys. I love her going up on Keith and embrace him like it was her child accomplishing a huge feat. Congrats Keith!!!
The video was so fun and emotional and powerful but also I had to pause at 4:05 and spend several minutes laughing way harder than i should have at "hey it's me, roachsoda...Beetlejuice's cousin" XD
Im literally crying from seeing how happy Keith looks in this video. After all of that bs, it’s so wonderful to see something like this and I am so happy for him.
Agree 100% THIS is why I watch Try Guys. I feel like after the stress and pain they have been through (even though I know this was filmed before) it’s nice to see such an uplifting video and show the haters how the guys are true to themselves.
As a theatre kid from way back who also sorta shelved that "Broadway" dream we all have at one moment or another, this really hit me. There would have been no one better for this opportunity than Keith. Couldn't be happier for him! Excuse me while I pull myself together emotionally...
As a fellow theater kid, who's super passionate about the importance of community theater, see if there's a local theater or online classes or read a play with friends, go do karaoke-its never to late to return to your passion, even if it's on a smaller scale than you anticipated! I feel like there's something extra magical about going to a local play and seeing the cashier you know from the grocery store give an amazing performance. 😊
This was so much fun to watch. You can tell Keith is just over the moon, and all his friends are there, and the cast and crew are all just cheering for him. What a wonderful collaboration.
Honestly I'm so glad it was Keith. Like I know Zach and Kwasi would've loved it too and many of the comments on the last video were talking about "Eugene would've definitely won if he was there" and so on and so on, but this feels like so much Keith's thing and you can hear how badly he wanted this as a stage performer. Good ending for me.
@@kaminosystem Realistically, they probably sent the costume manager all of the guys' sizes ahead of time, and the actors for Mover #1, #2, and #3 would most likely swing for one another if they needed to borrow one of the smaller sizes for Zach/Kwesi.
This video is the definition of "what you put in is what you get out". He got a non speaking, non dancing role that was on stage for 10 seconds at most. But he was excited regardless and took in every moment he could (from what we saw obviously) and took it all very seriously but with a good humor. I think in some ways too, he maybe reminded folks in the show that may have gotten complacent or "used to" being on stage that this is a big opportunity regardless of how small a role is and showed even mover #3 could inspire millions.
As a stage manager this stresses me out but also makes me very happy. Also Alex fangirling over Keith’s hot sauce while Keith fan girls over Alex/Broadway is so wholesome.
I’m sobbing. The squeal I made when they put Keith front and center. Zack & Rachel being so happy and supportive was the sweetest thing ever. I can only imagine how excited Becky was for him! One of my favorite videos
I got second-hand jitter anticipation watching Keith get nervous at the 30 min mark. And when they pulled him into center stage for the bows?!? Instant tears. What a phenomenal thing to get to experience, makes me REALLY miss my theatre days.
It's never too late to return! See if there's a local community theater or a high school theater program you can volunteer with! Theater needs all ages and backgrounds!
omg yes! And everyone in the cast was so sweet and seemed to be having so much fun! It must be nice to do a promotional collab like this with people as fun as the Try Guys.
Keith has this goofy persona, he's always happy and joyful. But in this video you get to see, more than usual, how authentically excited he is. He is trully thrilled to be there, I'm so happy for him.
This is so special. Love how the title says "first time". This is such a nurturing team that give their all for the most deserving of people. So happy for Keith.

I’m sorry, who?
Asked
I think, Keith crying, and actively acknowledging how powerful the moment was, when it was over- was so perfect. it speaks so much to his character. He is a grateful guy, it's absolutely clear in his personality and the way he treated this experience. Thank you Keith, and Try family, for sharing this moment with those of us who don't have this opportunity, and probably never will.
When they all gave Keith his own centre stage bow, honestly I'm crying...They were all so supportive and kind, Keith did great!!
In the last episode, Zak seemed like he really would’ve liked to be picked, so it’s so sweet how genuinely excited for Keith he was.
That's what love does.
I got so teary eye when Rachel ran to hug him and cried with him. That’s a friend
I think it's gotta be because everyone was once in his position. They remember that sparkle of the first time!
How accepting the cast was of Keith proves that Broadway actors are still ultimately just theater kids 🥰
Only the nice theatre kids get in broadway
@@sammiewinchester3089 what about lea michele
She’s kinda an island off by herself
A comedy musical like Beetlejuice was the best show they could’ve done this episode with. I love how the cast and crew encouraged Keith and made him feel welcome.
When Rachel hugged Keith. Knowing how much they’ve all been through that just broke me. I’m so happy for him and so happy they can still find joy.
it was super beautiful cuz she knows them and has worked with them for so long, seeing them obtain dreams together is beautiful

The look of absolutely glee on his face 😂

How do you watch Keith as a performer over the past 8 years and not cry while watching this video
Yes!! Such happy tears
You don't. You cry right along with him!
Oh I definitely started crying by the end!
I was holding it together, but the backstage hugs got me 🥹 So proud of Keith!!!
Oh I cried for sure
That ending part where they all grabbed Kieth and put him front and center honestly made me slightly emotional. I am SO HAPPY for him!!
And that’s when the tears started for me 😂😅
I am glad the kept recording and showed the raw emotions ❤️
I started crying, sobbing. I don't know why. I just felt Keith's happiness and loved that they let him have that moment. I'm so happy for him and loved that the cast was so accepting of him and did so much to make him feel special. His interaction with Dana as well. Loved it, cried, putting this in my favorite video folder
Rachel’s reaction after the show made me sob like a baby. It’s clear how proud Rachel is of the guys and how far they’ve come. We love you guys ❤️
Glad I wasn’t the only one who cried hahaha

I loved total acceptance from the cast for Keith🥺🥺 They really tried to make this so special for him
Same!! I was tearing up for him. It was so wholesome
Right? I love how they knew what a big deal this was for him, even though for them it’s just another’s day work. They’re so excited for him 💙🥺
Theatre people in general are some of the most accepting and welcoming you can ever meet.
Beetlejuice's success was also initially built on social media. There's a reason this production invited them.
Theatre people are some of the most welcoming, funny, empathetic people..plus Keith's whole attitude is very gracious, kind, and good spirited the whole time which I'm sure warmed them to him and made them want the best experience for him from the get go
Rachel coming in with that hug right when Keith needed is such a mom move
I didn’t lose it until then 😭😭
Yeah, a beautiful soul. What a sweetheart
Rachel's the Try LLC mom.
And now I’m crying!!! I’m so glad it was Keith who got the role. You could tell just how much it meant to him
This may be the single greatest video ever. I literally cried with Keith and Rachel. The whole cast was SO amazing ugh this couldn’t have been sweeter

Literal tears!!! I can’t believe they got me!!!
Started full on bawling when Rachel hugged him :((
Also, literal tears. Such an amazing experience! This is the first of many more Broadway appearances for you Keith. Congratulations 🎊
Wait a minute I wasn’t expecting to full on cry when they pulled Keith center stage during curtain call and when he had his moment backstage with Rachel 😢
That was so lovely of the cast to do and so cool to see Keith have this amazing experience
Same here, this is one of the few times I cried watching a try guys video (that wasn't from laughing). It was so wholesome to watch and seeing how much it meant to Keith really made my day.
full on tears
Y’all the amount of effort it must have taken to even produce this video is insane. The unions do not let anyone record a live performance, let alone post it publicly. Like this would’ve been a long talk with the producing company and unions so they can get a concession to even make this video. It’s honestly really impressive.
Whoaah, you're right! I didn't even think of that part of it! That's amazing
I'm going to take a guess since the show is closing soon and it will be good publicity they were a little more flexible. I'm still shocked though.
The also probably had to get the video itself approved before it was posted, meaning someone from the legal team for the show had to watch and approve what they did show, it's probably gone through several edits of what they could and could not show.
when he said he "didn't think the dream was mine to have" that got to me. I really hope he gets to star in more broadway shows in the future
Yes, I know Zach may be debating whether the show he is writing is financially responsible now but I hope they do it at some point.
Why is nobody commenting how Zach knew exactly how Keith would feel? He said 'He's not gonna remember any of it' and there you have Keith exiting the stage and saying just that. Now that is friendship
It’s a common thing that happens on stage you just black out mentally
Zach also said he would cheer for "his babyyy" that is just so wholesome🥺🥺💗💗

The way Alex’s face lit up when Keith said he had hot sauce for him 😊🥰
As someone with social anxiety and really weak speaking skills, I’m always in awe of how easily Keith can chat with people and make them laugh and feel so at-ease. Like, he’s known these people for maybe a few days but he’s already charmed the pants off of them.
Right! Its just so impressive even being such a small detail, i would like to be like that someday
He really is one of those people that's just oozing charm out the wazoo. And not in that cocky way that almost seems distancing, but in a way that really puts people at ease and bring them in.
Yes! He's very sweet and funny 🥰
Keith is (secretly) a theatre person, and they were all theatre people - he's home!
I was just thinking that - how he chatted and charmed with everyone and just made everyone laugh. It's just a really awesome skill.
I can't get over how overwhelmingly nice everyone in that production was about this. They were so supportive without making a big deal out of it and it's just so sweet. I'm so glad Keith got this experience. Really teared up at the end. Loved these two episodes
yeah i agree it was so sweet to see his dreams come true
Alex's genuine excitement at Keith's hot sauce gift was so precious!
It was so cute, and dude has a wall of hot sauce
I know Kwesi and Zach wanted it, but I think Keith wanted it the most, being that he has a big theatre background, and he really earned it. He was just simply the best and he just...ugh I love him so much and am so proud
Honestly made me sad though when he said he didn't disserve it but he does cause even though yeah he wouldn't of got it if he wasn't a try guy but he has put in the work that you cant dispute

Great video
thats whats great about these type of try videos, you get to see people doing what they know how to do while ttgs take care of the making a video part
