I remember the good old days while the road from lambar to charang was under construction back in 2009. My father was JE at that time in moorang and I used to visit the roads with him in vacations. My father used to walk to charang (12-13 kms) to see the progress of the rock cutting and blasting of rocks. Thankyou so much for showing this road. My father would love to see this video and it will also refresh the memories back ❤

WOW, those roads are scary. Hats off to the HRTC driver and conductor who do this perilous journey twice per day. How do they manage if another vehicle comes from opposite direction? This brought back memories of my bus ride in HP several years ago when I had gone for trek (Chandrakhani) via YHAI and 3 of us were seated on TOP of the bus!!! Scary & exhilirating at same time especially since we could see the road ahead & behind and the steep incline on one side and the steep drop on the other…. good times!!

Thanx for an absolutely thrilling journey again Avinash. Kudos to you are your entire team. Really enjoyed it a lot. I have a few thoughts though.
1. Why are small 13 seater caravans not preferred on such thin roads ? What is the reason HRTC continues with these huge 37 seaters which are so tough to manouvre ?
2. I have a little confusion regarding names. For many years, I thought this village was called चरांग, and not चारंग । What is the correct name ? Similarly, I thought it's चितकुल and not छितकुल !
3. It was both sad as well as worrying to see dwindling snowfall in these pristine hills. How has that affected farming patterns here ? What is grown here apart from peas ?
