I am a bus driver. I enjoy following the views of many villages and landscape. Thankyou.
It would be interesting to know how many times the bus has maintainance to replace the brake shoes. Seeing how often the drivers brake. Also the shock absorbers must get hammered looking at all the road infrasture traveling thru the rough terrain. Amazing indeed.

Interesting questions, I doubt any of these buses have retarders or any tech specifically to save the brakes. I like to believe that these drivers only rely/rely heavily on the pedal brakes. Would love to know more about this though as I am not so sure.
There was unprecedented rain in July/August that swept away many roads. Otherwise the roads in Himachal hilld are better than in Uttarakhand hills
Hi guys. So when you watch the vlog videos, some drivers heavy foot take risks and pass other vehicles and at some places have to brake heavy. A retarder is good to slow a heavy vehicle down a steep hill, but not to stop suddenly. Therefore the driver has to manually brake hard. I
drive a Volvo bus with a retarder. To be fair, road conditions play a big part in driving. Also some videos i've watched, some drivers drive to fast. Number 1, is safety to your passingers. Paramont.
Humey is route se boht pyar hai.. Manali hum saal me 8 se 10 bar travel karte hai.. punjab se manali himachal Keylong sabse best places and views hai.. Jab ye roads sahi ho jayegi.. umeed karte hai.. hum phir apne Himachal Manali me dubara waise i travel karenge.. Love from Punjab. I feel both side of river bank 2 lane is better than four lane in this area however reaching to old damaged boundary will make it fragile for next monsoon

It's been very unfortunate to see the devastating conditions in uppar himachal. Travelling to these need precautions at some hill areas around. Govt must issue few restrictions for traveller's since winter about start soon.

Every year the climate is going to be extreme....
If Himachali are really serious about saving their Dev Bhumi & beautiful culture, then they should look into the following.
It's advisable to shift the man-made structures away from the river instead of rebuilding them....
Complete ban on multistories structures & regulate the registration of tourist across the year, instead of crowding them up on seasonal basis.
No tourist should be allowed without prior registration & maximum 5 day visit limit should be imposed once a year.
Next monsoons chances of human casualties will be unthinkable...If proper measures are not taken by the authorities now

But on other end manali is so beautiful ❤️ place in our country. Some places scenic beauty is related to switzerland.
