@@LiveFertile Hi ma'am... For me it's to help to get pregnant... I'm trying to conceive.... So please help me out... Ma'am I'm under the HRT medicine this month so hoping for the best... Please guide or suggest me something which helps me in my way.... And with your yoga... Is it ok to do Sun Salutation as well....?
@@withu1408 Hi Shiba! I'm wishing you all the best with your treatment. Take a look around my channel and site. I have quite a few resources on yoga and nutrition for fertility. I think it's fine to do sun salutation when trying to conceive if it feels good and supportive to your body. 😊
I've been feeling unusually sleepy and low-energy this ovulatory phase but this was so energizing and refreshing. I'm feeling awake and alive now! Thank you!
Thank you! I've been looking for this. We are TTC and this time is seems to be more difficult. We were successful once and know it is possible but, again, this time seems more challenging. This has been the encouragement I think I needed.
Hi Krissy👋🏽I'm happy you found this video! I hope it provides the support and encouragement you've been looking for. I'm rooting for you and wishing you all the best.
This is really nice and I like your calm and quiet teaching style. The only thing is, it all feels a bit hurried - could we maybe have a longer, say 45 minute to an hour session - with more time settle into poses, making sure we get the full benefit out of each one? I appreciate more dynamism is good in the ovulatory phase, but a little bit if yin also goes a long way for me... 😁 Lovely practice though, thank you!
I hear ya! I usually reserve longer practices for live classes. They tend to not do very well on YT, seems most people are looking for shorter classes. But I do have a few longer practices here on TH-cam and I just published a yin yoga for ovulation class you might like.
Thank you for all your great videos. When is the best time to do this particular one when you’re TTC? Before bed? Before/after you get busy making full use of your fertile window? And how do you know when to start doing the other ones, like the ones you made for the TWW or luteal phase (and should I be doing both at once) ? Hope to get your advice soon ❤️
Hi there!👋🏽You're welcome. Thank you for your comment. I tend not to have any hard and fast rules around time of day. If I remember correctly, this one is a little more invigorating than many of my other videos so you might prefer to do it in the morning or midday. But if you find it relaxing, before bed could work too. And there are no definite rules around when to practice it around coitus. That is up to you too. Choose whatever time works for you and feels supportive to you. That's what matters most. The two week wait and luteal phase videos can be done at any point during the luteal phase/ TWW (technically the same phase i.e. post ovulation.) Feel free to choose one or the other, do both, or bounce back and forth between the two. Keep it simple and flexible. Be gentle with yourself and enjoy exploring yoga. TTC can be stressful enough.🤗
Hi there! Not specifically, but it is something I consider when creating certain videos. Are you referring to preventing it, practices that are safe during stimming/ retrieval, or practices that are safe for someone who has experienced OHSS?
@@verlisashepherd1906 Thank you for clarifying. No, that's not something I have addressed in videos. It feels like something I'd be most comfortable approaching in a one-on-one client session due to the complications associated with it. Thanks again for your question. Best wishes!
Hi there. I'm fairly certain I included the answer to your request in the description box. I always recommend checking there first if you have questions about videos. The answer might already be there. Now, it was created to be done around the time of ovulation, your fertile window. So a couple of days before ovulation, the day of ovulation, and a couple of days after ovulation could be good times to explore this sequence.
It's designed to support ovulation. Which is important for fertility. Of course, there are many other things that affect fertility and pregnancy though.
Thank you!! This is awesome ..I am 44 years old n do not have PCOS or any issues , I have had regular period all this while but of late, it's coming lil late. Can you suggest some yoga . Is it ok for me to practice this yoga
You're so welcome. I'm happy you like the video. You can absolutely do this video (and any of the others.) Many women start to have longer or shorter cycles in their forties. I'll add a perimenopause (not saying that's what you're experiencing) sequence to my list of videos to create. I think it could be a good topic to address here. Thanks!
@Live Fertile I cannot really do the forward fold because I can't reach the floor with my legs straightened. So what is the better option for me: - finger tips on the floor, knees bent - legs straight, hands just hanging down as far as possible Looking forward to your expert answer! :)
Good question! You're the expert of your body, so try a few different things and see what you enjoy the most. Here are a few options to give a try: - Keep your legs and back straight, hinge forward at the hips, and rest your hands anywhere along your thighs, shins, or ankles. - Hinge forward at the hips and bend your legs as much as you need to bring your fingertips to the floor. - Place blocks or books (or anything else to rest your hands on) in front of you, hinge forward at the hips and rest your fingertips on your prop. Mix and match. Play. Experiment. Have fun. You might also find other variations online. Hope that helps!
Hi there! It certainly couldn't hurt. I'd recommend doing the other videos in this series as well. Remember, egg quality is impacted by things that happen throughout your cycle, not just during ovulation. Be well!
Good question Farah. It really depends on why someone might not be having a period. For people with PCOS, yoga has been shown to help regulate their cycles. Mind-body practices (like yoga) have also been shown to increase the chances of conceiving. Overall, yoga helps with how we respond to stress which can have a negative impact on our cycles and hormones. Hope that helps!
Hi there! So, if you're asking if this should be done after ovulation, it can be for a couple of days but it was designed to be done up to a couple of days before, during, and up to a couple of days after ovulation. This series was designed to be safe for most people while TTC. It's always recommended that you discuss any new exercise routines with your doctor. Be well!
Hi there! It was designed to support ovulation. But our bodies can benefit from a variety of movements throughout our cycles. Ultimately, you’re the best person to decide if you’d like to continue to practice it post ovulation. I have other yoga practices designed with the other phases in mind that you might want to explore if you decide you’d like to only practice this sequence around the time of ovulation. Be well!
Good question, Vidhya. No, this practice was designed to support the changes that are happening around the time of ovulation, not make ovulation occur. It's important to consider why you're not ovulating and why your cycles are irregular. Only then can you really know what to address and how to address it. I recommend getting clear on what is causing your irregular cycles, addressing the root causes, and practicing a variety of yoga practices (and other mind-body practices) regularly. Hope that helps!
