    Thank you so much Lisa. Your explanations are simple and clear. This is the best walk-through video of cardiovascular cpt chapter that I've watched. The examples are great. You make things easy to understand. You're a great teacher! More power to you!

    Taking online course again now through AAPC. Prior to your video, I stared at the Cardiovascular chapter and cringed, because the AAPC lectures just are lacking something. I truly appreciate how you made it understandable. Thank you!

      @Gina Rawa if you are studying for your CPC exam, don’t stress!! The exam does NOT question too hard into this section and you can always use process of elimination. I just passed the first time in August :)

    I would like to thank you so much for this channel! I have been trying to study Medical Coding and I'm almost done with the course but I was desperate because I was feeling like I wasn't learning anything, I was so afraid of taking the exam and wasn't sure if I would pass. Now I understand everything so easily with your videos! It really gave me motivation to keep going!! Thank you so much!!

    very helpful i was just wondering for the last example with the spleen wouldn't 88101 be coded as well since there was a resection of the portion of the spleen? also for that example of the arteriogram I'm having trouble determining how you would know that its a more expensive procedure to be coded first. that tricks me up because a lot of the time the one the sounds more like it would be more expensive to me doesn't end up being coded first, do you have any tips for that maybe? anyone and as much help as needed thanks!

    Around 58 minutes you discuss inserting a dual chamber pacer, you give 2 codes 33207 and 33217, would this not be covered with 1 code 33208- insertion of pulse generator plus insertion of transvenous dual leads?

  • @chelseafuller4998
    @chelseafuller4998 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    I think it has to be 33208? I’m second guessing myself because I am no professional lol. And you obviously are! I hope to hear back soon!

    • @lihuibrown2995
      @lihuibrown2995 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I think it should be 33207, 33225. 33207 is for right ventricular, and add-on code 33225 is for left ventricular. 33208 wouldn't be right since it's for atrial and ventricular.

    Hello! I'm not sure if I could ask you about the Code IT Book 123 that you mentioned. I'm planning to buy the 2021 edition, and I was wondering where the answer key is because someone gave a review that the answers are not in the book. The question is how do I know that my answer would be correct because it won't give rationale and answers. I called cengage to buy the answer key book but they don't sell it. We found out that someone sells the solution book for the 2020 edition. Would you suggest for me to buy the 2020 Code it 123 and buy the workbook solution book? Please help so I could understand further the course. It is imperative that I pass so that I won't waste my money. Thank you for all your help!

    Hey I am super confused 😐 it says in the parenthetical notes (do not report 33206, 33207, 33208 in conjunction with 33216,33217)

  • @sajeenasanovar3157
    @sajeenasanovar3157 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    Under 33206,33027,33208 there is written as do not code in conjunction with 33216,33217 so why we r coding 33207,33217

    Hello, I am coding from the 2019 CPT book so I am a bit confused about pacemaker scenario (cue to 56.45) It states in my AMA 2019 CPT code book (perhaps outdated) page 217, upper right column, under CPT codes 33207/8 in parenthesis: "(Do not report 33206, 33207, 33208 in conjunction with 33216, 33217)" but from what I can see these are the codes that were listed for the pacemaker insertion that I just referenced in this video /again, please cue to 56.45 in video. Can you please clarify about these two codes 33207 and 33217- can they be reported together? Thank you.
