Thank you. I am coping and pasting this to several people., who helped me. I got my results today. I took my test yesterday evening. I made a 91. The test was big , but the biggest issue were the proctors. The day before the test. I had to change my strategy. That increased my time. I used the small plastic tabs to separate my answers instead of writing them on the board. I may have used the board maybe 10 times., mostly during E/M section. I am so glad I thought of using the tabs to separate my answers. Due to not having to use the board so much, I was able to finish with a few minutes to spare each time. The test seemed slightly easier online than in the study guide. I had maybe 4 questions that I had to use the parenthesis “do not use with”. The answers mostly were on the same page. You had to know your “ body parts and approach” to get to it. The 2nd proctor interrupted me and I was going to get 3 of the first 5 questions wrong had I not had time go and read them again. My passing or failing would have determined if I had complained about her.
Thank you so much with videos they are better than any other modules with price tag. I watched your videos to get the over view on the chapters which helped to pass my CPC. No way I will have broader concept of medical coding without your simple way of teaching it. Thanks you very much!!!!
@@missokieok your vids are wonderful. Thank you for taking the time to post. Very explanatory. I’m brand new to coding . I’m having a hard time figuring out how to translate the diagnosis to the index at times with cpt and icd-10
Info is great but sometimes easier to use index, can you provide info using index as well please would greatly appreciate it. Taking CPC exam next month
If you code outpatient for a facility, Emergency Rooms, etc you would use these infusion, injection and IV push codes. Also, some clinics have the capability of hanging fluids on a patient. ie: patient is a touch dehydrated so they hang a bag of Normal Saline. These codes are based on time - length of infusion. First you figure out what is being infused (therapeutic not saline in this section), then you determine how long, then determine if there were any concurrent (at same time) or sequential(another one after the first one) infusions or IV Pushes.
This is more helpful than all my online classes
I'm afraid online school
