Stay strong, i know it is difficult and very sad. My dad was also an abusive alcoholic for most of my life. Surprisingly he did stop drinking, but he behavior stayed the same. I have now as an adult written him off 🥺 which breaks my heart but in the end my happiness needs to come first. I hope u are ok and things work out to bring u happiness and peace 🤍
these songs made me cry, theyre not just music or lyrics, theyre raw emotions being let out. I was born legally blind & a genetic disease that doesnt let my nerves detect pain so i get injured a lot. I was deprived of my parents love as a kid & had no friends due to people being afraid of my “looks” and being facially deformed. Lost all my teeth, lost a toe, lost sight, my body filled with burns & bruises... and all everyone does is run away. I’m only turning 17 now and severely touch starved.... it always feels like no one will ever care, I wish my mom would someday. Im gonna be honest, some of your songs have been so helpful and brilliant - like innocence, shattered halos, eyes, suffocate, so many of your songs. The stories that these songs tell make them even more personal to you and that's what makes you unique, no matter what you've been through. Hi Nathan. All of your songs bring out so much emotion with me. I am SUVIVOR of sexual, verbal and emotional abuse. I became disabled at the age of 48. I have lower back injuries, and mental issues. I suffer from brain damage that was caused by a doctor putting me on the wrong medication and instead of being concerned about me going from 125 pounds to 90 pounds in three months he just kept increasing the dosage on the medication. It made me have a psychotic breakdown about 5 years ago. It was so bad my son almost put me in the lockdown stress unit of our local hospital. When I called the Dr. saying something was wrong I got a message back from his nurse telling me he couldn't help me. I didn't know what to do, so I had to go cold turkey off of pain medication, benzodiazepines, depression medication and the epilepsy medication he put me on for mood swings. It was the worst three months I think I've ever gone through. If it hadn't been for my beloved service dog Trixie and my son I would have died. My puppy would wake me up because I would stop breathing and my son worked full time and had very little sleep while I went through withdrawals. I am now completely off prescription meds and use OTC and herbal supplements. I feel so much better except for the memory loss and anger outbursts that I still suffer through. I just want people to know that there is help out there if you really want it. Sorry for being so long winded, I just wanted to let you know what I'm dealing with for the rest of my life and to tell you how grateful I am for your honesty and strength. Your music is fantastic and I'm so glad to be a faithful fan. THANK YOU NATHAN FOR EVERYTHING. LOVE YOU.

I'm new to your music at mo age 66 but my gosh the sincerity, raw emotion is truly mind-blowing, my daughter introduced me to u and it's the Hope song that started my journey, I suffer mental health and since retirement feel lost at times , it's a struggle daily but then just need one uplift and I feel and see hope , u are a brillient singer and to know u use your sings to help people as that'll is what u are doing. This soundtrack feels like the last year of my life. I still feel so much pain, and the love of my life still doesn't understand how much it hurts every day still and how hard it is to be friends, and still love him so deeply that it feels like a crushing weight I can't bear. I almost stopped listening to music altogether, because we loved doing that together. I literally cried every day for 6 months. I still do every time I think about it. For months I just prayed I would die. I will not lie and say those thoughts don't still cross my mind from time to time. I try and find meaning in little things, but the struggle is real. People say, you'll find someone else. But everyone else I wear a mask with. He was the only one I let all the way in. I miss our love. I miss the way we were together. We could be ourselves with each other. He was my best friend, my confidante, my lover, my favorite person I wanted to spend the rest of my life with. I miss his heart. Thanks for these songs. 'Blood' has hit me really hard ever since i came across it a few months ago. I don't know why. It still makes me cry sometimes when i hear it. Gives me a way to release the emotions that my pride won't let me show or explain. It's been part of the reason why i can figure out what's bothering me. The connection and how much i can relate to the lyrics in my own way, have been the gateway for me to finally start to figure out myself. I spent years blocking myself out just because i thought i was doing myself a favor by not bearing the weight of knowing the reasons to my problems. I'm on the verge of a total mental break. I've already hit a half-break, near the end of 2020. Too much has been happening around the world for too many years that pains me, because beyond the shell that makes me seem selfish and to myself, I'm in constant pain for the people of the world and what they have to put up with, what they've had to for years. It's time for change, and I know that, and so do many others. I'm just afraid that I won't be able to accomplish what I need to in order to save the world and to finally save myself. I know that once I've accomplished what I need to, I can finally be at peace. I'd rather not leave the Earth (at all, if the technology is available), but I feel that if I perish for the cause of bringing about actual peace and unity over the whole planet then that too will be my mind settled. Yet, there's still the looming possibility of the full-break... that is to say, if it happens I may never return to a more normal self. I'll be beyond saving. It may seem crazy, but I've got a sort of ability. I call it Final Vengeance, and it's nearly slipped out multiple times. I can control some aspects of it to aid me when I need them, like my ability to produce infinite adrenaline or my ability to take hits and pain and continue without retreating. However if I unleash completely, while I'll still be in enough control to be sure the innocent are safe, I'm still going to go on a rampage until I've been killed or else the world is made right. I'm constantly afraid of letting it out, because I'd rather like saving the world to live in it, but even if I survive Final Vengeance, I'd rather exile myself than let others see me that way. And I have no way of stopping it if it does unleash. I'd be better off dead if it did, and it'd might as well be a death sentence. The way things are going, though, it seems more and more like it could activate anywhere between a week to a few months. There's just too much shit happening, too much pain, too much sorrow, too little justice, freedom doesn't truly exist no matter how it's shoved down our throats. We're forced to live on our knees. Forced to obey. If we don't keep generating labour for the machine, our loved ones risk perishing. If we try to fight for our lives, they step on us. I want change. I'm assembling a network. I'm just afraid it won't be enough. But the only help I can get is help making things right. And who knows, maybe if/when Final Vengeance activates, I might be able to come back. But I don't know. Everything's too uncertain. My mind is foggy. I write my thoughts as if it'll help, but the more I write and the more I read and the more I see all the damage across the globe, the more pain I feel, the more likely I am to break down and cry, the more I feel my time coming to an end, the closer Final Vengeance comes.

My mother and my sister don't enjoy your music, but it speaks to me on such a level I won't let them stop me from listening to it. It's comforting, in a weird way, to hear that other people are struggling with some of the things that I am. Hi Nathan. All of your songs bring out so much emotion with me. I am SUVIVOR of sexual, verbal and emotional abuse. I became disabled at the age of 48. I have lower back injuries, and mental issues. I suffer from brain damage that was caused by a doctor putting me on the wrong medication and instead of being concerned about me going from 125 pounds to 90 pounds in three months he just kept increasing the dosage on the medication. It made me have a psychotic breakdown about 5 years ago. It was so bad my son almost put me in the lockdown stress unit of our local hospital. When I called the Dr. saying something was wrong I got a message back from his nurse telling me he couldn't help me. I didn't know what to do, so I had to go cold turkey off of pain medication, benzodiazepines, depression medication and the epilepsy medication he put me on for mood swings. It was the worst three months I think I've ever gone through. If it hadn't been for my beloved service dog Trixie and my son I would have died. My puppy would wake me up because I would stop breathing and my son worked full time and had very little sleep while I went through withdrawals. I am now completely off prescription meds and use OTC and herbal supplements. I feel so much better except for the memory loss and anger outbursts that I still suffer through. I just want people to know that there is help out there if you really want it. Sorry for being so long winded, I just wanted to let you know what I'm dealing with for the rest of my life and to tell you how grateful I am for your honesty and strength. Your music is fantastic and I'm so glad to be a faithful fan. THANK YOU NATHAN FOR EVERYTHING. LOVE YOU.

I'm new to your music at mo age 66 but my gosh the sincerity, raw emotion is truly mind-blowing, my daughter introduced me to u and it's the Hope song that started my journey, I suffer mental health and since retirement feel lost at times , it's a struggle daily but then just need one uplift and I feel and see hope , u are a brillient singer and to know u use your sings to help people as that'll is what u are doing. Oddly and Hope and Sound of Silence by Disturbed are my favourite song of all time ,well done u ❤️❤️

There's something about these songs that really speaks to me. I can totally relate. These songs are pure emotion put into word. They're hauntingly beautiful. "Anxiety" was the first song I heard of yours and honestly I broke down crying that first time because it seemed to put into words what I was feeling at the time. This soundtrack feels like the last year of my life. I still feel so much pain, and the love of my life still doesn't understand how much it hurts every day still and how hard it is to be friends, and still love him so deeply that it feels like a crushing weight I can't bear. I almost stopped listening to music altogether, because we loved doing that together. I literally cried every day for 6 months. I still do every time I think about it. For months I just prayed I would die. I will not lie and say those thoughts don't still cross my mind from time to time. I try and find meaning in little things, but the struggle is real. People say, you'll find someone else. But everyone else I wear a mask with. He was the only one I let all the way in. I miss our love. I miss the way we were together. We could be ourselves with each other. He was my best friend, my confidante, my lover, my favorite person I wanted to spend the rest of my life with. I miss his heart. Thanks for these songs. They are slowly helping me. The order is... exact. You aren't the only one, though it doesn't make it any easier.

What does it hold?
A version, an account faithfully kept inside me for so long. Truth can become factual with age. When emotions cease and a distant perspective takes hold.
The best way to portray them is through music. Just some melodies transform a few thousand random words into a living breathing memory capable of being understood by millions. Irrespective of barriers of language that divide us so much.
My music portrays what I faced and what kept me going. This is what it's all about. Each note, each verse holds memories forgotten and pain unbridled.

'Blood' has hit me really hard ever since i came across it a few months ago. I don't know why. It still makes me cry sometimes when i hear it. Gives me a way to release the emotions that my pride won't let me show or explain.
It's been part of the reason why i can figure out what's bothering me. The connection and how much i can relate to the lyrics in my own way, have been the gateway for me to finally start to figure out myself.
I spent years blocking myself out just because i thought i was doing myself a favor by not bearing the weight of knowing the reasons to my problems. I realized, a few weeks ago, that I was just making myself more confused and depressed. I doubt i could have figured that out if i hadn't found my way over to your music. It was a wake up call. I'm finally learning to open up again

I'm on the verge of a total mental break. I've already hit a half-break, near the end of 2020. Too much has been happening around the world for too many years that pains me, because beyond the shell that makes me seem selfish and to myself, I'm in constant pain for the people of the world and what they have to put up with, what they've had to for years. It's time for change, and I know that, and so do many others. I'm just afraid that I won't be able to accomplish what I need to in order to save the world and to finally save myself. I know that once I've accomplished what I need to, I can finally be at peace. I'd rather not leave the Earth (at all, if the technology is available), but I feel that if I perish for the cause of bringing about actual peace and unity over the whole planet then that too will be my mind settled. Yet, there's still the looming possibility of the full-break... that is to say, if it happens I may never return to a more normal self. I'll be beyond saving. It may seem crazy, but I've got a sort of ability. I call it Final Vengeance, and it's nearly slipped out multiple times. I can control some aspects of it to aid me when I need them, like my ability to produce infinite adrenaline or my ability to take hits and pain and continue without retreating. However if I unleash completely, while I'll still be in enough control to be sure the innocent are safe, I'm still going to go on a rampage until I've been killed or else the world is made right. I'm constantly afraid of letting it out, because I'd rather like saving the world to live in it, but even if I survive Final Vengeance, I'd rather exile myself than let others see me that way. And I have no way of stopping it if it does unleash. I'd be better off dead if it did, and it'd might as well be a death sentence. The way things are going, though, it seems more and more like it could activate anywhere between a week to a few months. There's just too much shit happening, too much pain, too much sorrow, too little justice, freedom doesn't truly exist no matter how it's shoved down our throats. We're forced to live on our knees. Forced to obey. If we don't keep generating labour for the machine, our loved ones risk perishing. If we try to fight for our lives, they step on us. I want change. I'm assembling a network. I'm just afraid it won't be enough. But the only help I can get is help making things right. And who knows, maybe if/when Final Vengeance activates, I might be able to come back. But I don't know. Everything's too uncertain. My mind is foggy. I write my thoughts as if it'll help, but the more I write and the more I read and the more I see all the damage across the globe, the more pain I feel, the more likely I am to break down and cry, the more I feel my time coming to an end, the closer Final Vengeance comes.

It makes so, so happy to see you grow and people loving and listening to your music because you are the most genuine artist I know! Your music speaks to me on another level, always did. It just felt like someone was suddenly trying to put my feelings into words and I admire that greatly! I’m full of joy now. Your music will always be a part of me, I’m so grateful.
