It’s honestly amazing how long it took Rapunzel and Eugene to get married. Even though Eugene was incredibly eager to start a new life with Rapunzel now that she had returned home to her real family and was living the life of a princess, he eventually understood that Rapunzel was still very young and wanted to enjoy the freedom she had taken away from her for *18* years. He promised to be patient with her and he actually was. That’s what makes it so rewarding when Rapunzel finally and willingly accepts Eugene‘s proposal after rejecting him two times. Plus, Eugene supported her every step of the way and never hurt her or got angry with her.
Not to mention she tried to propose to him on his birthday, but after all the drama that day, she decided not to Edit: that proves that she also wants to commit to the relationship when the time is right
I actually kinda want a live action of this one. The wardrobe and with the right actors THE CHEMISTRY would be even more off the charts, however, anyone but Disney should be in charge since they clearly don't care about their stories 💀
I’m just gonna say it… Tiana and Naveen are not only the best Disney couple, but also the best couple in film history. They are literally the dictionary definition of polar opposites, but that makes it even cuter when they constantly bicker with each other, learn to bond with each other, and eventually sacrifice their dreams to be together. Ion know. Sleeping Beauty was the only movie where it was implied that they got married that day. Who knows when exactly Cinderella, Belle and Ariel tied the knot. Heck, Aladdin didn't get hitched until the third movie.
I have come to learn that there are actually couples who got married right after meeting each other and they are actually happy. It has to do with being intentional, knowing what you want and sincerity! Also if I may, I think the thing with those other Disney movies is the fact that they did not provide scenes showing the couple's journey from meeting each other to marriage(I was that viewer that mentally filled in the gaps). But that does not mean there weren't periods of getting to know each other and don't forget, even preparing for the wedding ceremony would take some time. So I believe even while at that, the couple must have courted, even while arrangements were underway. I also think must of those princes and princesses might have been betrothed from birth before meeting each other again as adults. The good thing is that the couple actually liked each other(again just me filling in the gaps mentally), But hey, I may be wrong!😅🤷🏽♀️

Anna & Kristoff from "Frozen" franchise, Simba & Nala from "The Lion King" franchise, Aladdin & Princess Jasmine from "Aladdin" franchise, and Rapunzel & Eugene Fitzherbert from "Tangled" franchise are still among my top 5 favorite Disney couples.
My favs are definitely Shrek and Fiona as well as Helen and Bob. I feel that both couples translate marriage and partnership really well, from the up's and down's, to the love they have for each other and their kids. No matter how tough things get they will always remember their love for each other. Plus they have wonderful friends who are surrounding them and give their support but also reality checks when they need them. These two are really healthy imo. I could go into full detail about both couples, but that would be an entire essay lol.
Definitely my fav couples, who do have chemistry together and forever, are: Rapunzel and Eugene, Anastasia and Dimitri, Woody and Bo Peep (they are a good adventurous couple, they deserved to be together aww), Simba and Nala, Tiana and Naveen, Anna and Kristoff, and Linguini and Colette

When people criticize Aladdin for lying to Jasmine, I think they forget that she also lied to him, and about the same thing: personal identity and social class. The real relationship developed when they both opened up and still appreciated each other for who they were. Also, I kept waiting for Carl and Elie from Up to be mentioned. I understand that they didn't quite qualify for this list because we saw the beginning, middle, and end of their relationship -- all in the most tear-jerking opening minutes of any animated movie. But they were truly a super couple, and we KNOW that they lasted until the end.
This couple may not have been on the list, but the one that always makes me swoon is my favorite animated couple, Derek and Odette from "The Swan Princess" franchise. 😊

When people criticize Aladdin for lying to Jasmine, I think they forget that she also lied to him, and about the same thing: personal identity and social class. The real relationship developed when they both opened up and still appreciated each other for who they were.
Also, I kept waiting for Carl and Elie from Up to be mentioned. I understand that they didn't quite qualify for this list because we saw the beginning, middle, and end of their relationship -- all in the most tear-jerking opening minutes of any animated movie. But they were truly a super couple, and we KNOW that they lasted until the end.
Fix-It-Felix and Calhoun, Mulan and Shang, Tarzan and Jane, Milo Thatch and Kida are some examples
Now I want to see both Rapunzel and Eugene, Anna and Kristoff & Aladdin and Jasmine with children of their own
