Hi guys! Talking about Soft Natural Kibbe body type today, and what to include in your capsule wardrobe 😊 It’s said that it’s one of the most popular body type 😮 Let me know yours!
I’ve SCOURED the internet but none of them made a well-thought and digestible video or blog about SNs. Thank God,I found your blog and this video! Very informative and true from the type of fabrics down to the shape of accessories! ❤❤❤
@@trueselfstylist I love soft natural, gamine and theatrical romantic. I thought I was a gamine but lately I think I am a soft natural and I dont look bad in some theatrical romantic. I am curious what would you recommend for a theatrical romantic. Ah I like some classic too lol. I believe I like them all lol
@@Taichientaoyin I totally understand what you mean ☺️ I’ve been always between natural and classic body types myself. However, I’ve recently got my Kibbe body type and Kitchener style essences double checked by Dressarte Paris, and it appears I’m a classic Kibbe body type and a blend of classic, natural and romantic Kitchener style essences ☺️ What a blend! I’ve shared a few videos on that too if you have time to watch: Kibbe Soft Classic Casual & Chic Capsule Wardrobe: The Most Flattering Clothes (For Your Body Type!) th-cam.com/video/etOKfhtlbM0/w-d-xo.html Classic Essence | How I Create Outfits for my Essences Blend (Classic, Romantic, Natural) th-cam.com/video/nVb0T45GovI/w-d-xo.html
I'm definitely SN But Question- I look very tall (even though 5ft5" is only one inch taller than average hight) Is this why I feel the need to incorporate FN lines so much of the time??
Thanks for watching ☺️ This might be the case as we’re all unique and it’s absolutely fine to play with different styles to make sure they’re in line with our personal style and preferences 💫
Thanks for watching 💕 Actually, both items here are unstructured. As for the jacket, it’s made of a soft fabric, has a straight fit and has no closure. All this create a relaxed fit ☺️ As for the cardigan, it’s a knitted one that is quite soft ☺️
My shoulders are wide but everyone keeps saying that I'm being delusional and that I have body dysmorphia. I'm pretty sure that I'm most likely a soft natural but my mum keeps saying I look balanced. Now I don't know what to do. I noticed that I look unkempt in most soft natural lines, and loose things. It's like I'm trying to be effortless. But at the same time when I look at my body, I just think it's soft natural. Even though I look better with bolder makeup, bold brows and lips and liner. Everyone is convinced that I'm being silly. Now I'm not sure what my Kibbe type is😅
Take a look at “kibbe width” which it seems is a primary feature of the Natural family. So it’s not just the shoulders but the upper body (and how open it is or isn’t ).
@@alexandrabuzzeo1850 Well, in my eyes, my upper body, except the shoulders look balanced with my hips. My waist is in proportion to my upper body and hips. And the shoulders alone seem wide.
@@skhulilengema4094 so maybe not a soft natural then. There are so many videos-I think you’ll figure it out if you watch more of them. There’s a woman called Aly Art who has some good ones (to the maker of this video- I enjoyed this one very much !) I was sure I was soft gamine because I’m short but then I did more TH-cam research and I’m totally a soft natural . Good luck on your journey 😊
Hi, thanks for watching 🙂 This one is from Dressarte. I've added a link in the description box. I have it custom-made to my body measurements. Hope it helps!
Hello, I am, genuinely curious on the science behind the recommendation of exclusivity wearing unstructured or constructed clothes because it is inherently “flattering” on one’s frame rather that tailored clothing because you seem to end off the video by saying that everyone should embrace their unique attributes. I simply wish to understand your reasoning, because the only plausible explanation that I see for the recommendation is to hide one’s figure, therefore an aspect of them making them unique. On top of that that recommendation seems quite counterintuitive because there are occasions in which soft natural bodies have to wear tailored clothing such as dinner parties or in corporate settings therefore it’s not very fair to simply advise to cover your body in a potato sack rather than having to show the world what you actually look like simply because you were born with slightly different proportions than others. i’m trying to say this in the nicest way possible. I apologize if it came off as brash.
Hello, thank you so much for watching! That's a very interesting comment! As a quick disclaimer, this video is my interpretation of Kibbe system and Kibbe guidelines that are part of Kibbe image identity type. There is absolutely no obligation for anyone to follow them. As you might know, fashion and personal style is a very subjective topic, not a science. That's why it's very important to see what styles resonate with you the most and flatter your unique body shape and not follow the recommendations blindly. Regarding the unconstructed items, they are not about covering the body or hiding one’s figure. This mostly refers to the fabrics, cuts, silhouettes, etc. Tailored clothing comes in different styles, and it’s all about styling the items the way that works best for you. I personally like considering Kibbe and Kitchener styles systems together when it comes to personal style.

Aren't both the cardigan and blazer shown here structured?
