Thank you for the detailed review. Our AD409 Pro arrived today ago.
Our solution to the invisible buttons Menu was to paint the buttons with a permanent silver Sharpie marker. It works perfectly even in the color-grading dark room we have. As for having a larger panoramic view, adding a wide-angle lens, available by the manufacturer, does increase the view.
Thanks once again for the review. We bought this unit after watching your review.
We use it before the digitation of analog tapes during the evaluation process, where microscopy molds, dirt debris, etc., are detected. Having the video and pictures as part of the client evaluation report has become a plus to our digitation service for the archival, preservation, and restoration of analog tapes.

Would you mind doing a quick follow-up using both cameras to view a dime and a penny? I'm looking for a solid digital microscope I can use to see very small doubling and other errors.

between what you see and when you interact with the subject under the microscope I haven't noticed any perceivable lag at all..it's pretty responsive.
