This is a unique festival that has to be seen to believed. This year they started it at the monkey sanctuary. Here is a video from last year at the Khmer temple near the train station. Lopburi Monkey Festival November 2023 - Unique Monkey Buffet Festival th-cam.com/video/vcqjrIka1s8/w-d-xo.html
That looks like the golden corral buffet in Atlanta, you got to be careful reaching for food. Monkeys would make good warriors. This is a great spot to see. I wonder why they do not take them out real rural and let them go? Thanks for filming this looks like fun! I hope to be in town for PORT/RATCHABURI match late Jan 25
@@joezip6389 it’s pretty crazy when they get to eating. They are basically 2 year olds with much faster reflexes and jumping abilities. Lol I thought the same thing but that many monkeys let loose in one area without food would cause other issues. People have been feeding these for so long they depend on it and can’t forage like their wild cousins. That would be cool if you are back in town that soon. Definitely let me know and you can come hang out at the game.
@@TheCountryCollectors it’s a bit crazy that’s for sure. It was interesting to see the new monkey sanctuary that they built but I like the feast outside much better. Are you heading to Kanchantaburi for the bridge over the river Kwai festival? We will be there next weekend on the 6th to 8th.
@ not sure I’m going to make it. I’m in Chaing Mai at the moment and going to make some videos around here first then a quick trip to Vietnam and hopefully the star festival in December
