That's what I was assuming anyways. Isaac has at least 30 other voices in his head.
My headcanon is that from his toying with the forces of life and death, something went horribly wrong and he was scattered throughout parallel realities, swapping between them rapidly, hence his birthright being called Superposition, sort of channeling the other reality

And personally I think its more based off the same stories but from a different point of view and my personal headcanon for Lazarus is tried tainted Lazarus tried to defy fate a second time and was disfigured in the process a being between life and death constantly switching between this new damaged body and his old decaying body

SUPER interested in this separate canon youve made from the game, especially since we see the majority of the moriahs untainted (including edith :D) so along with the reactions of the others around him that probably means Laz was the first Moriah to get tainted, really cool and interesting
The description confirms that Lazarus (or Lazaruses? Lazari?) was the first character in this canon to become tainted.
It also makes sense that he would be the first to fall- in this canon, a character needs to die while having Choas to become tainted. And Lazarus's whole gimmick is that he dies alot.
How do you know how they get tainted? Ive never seen anyone else say that thy neededbto hold chaos for it.
@@psi_starbean In Tainted Keeper's Video, the TV In the beginning has an ad for a horror movie where it shows a character becoming tainted after having Choas, and dying and reappearing in the closet. In Juice Spider as well, the Beast attempts to convince the spider to become tainted to obtain more power, but it refuses and spits up Choas.

I noticed a certain someone in the background. Given the Book of Job condemned Edith by turning her into a pillar of salt, perhaps her salt version is actually her tainted form, while the human Edith in the background of this video is her normal form.
The edith mod has a tainted edith that seems to have been inhabited by... Something. I'm kinda hoping Incendiary uses that.

the neat detail of having Judas help Laz around in this one is neat in the way that I only noticed it once I looked and read the book in TJudas's video
oh and the relationship between edith and Apollyon is neat too, and I assume Tlilith will be turning point of silly to entirely canon-based because everyone depends on her, and her T version has just horrible implications with them forgetting who they were and steps into the bounds of well, you know.

At 0:48 we can see a little popup appear over the angel's head - it looks like the Urn of Souls inside of the Cathedral with the roman numeral 16 on it. Maybe it's saying that they need the souls of the 16 Moriahs to resurrect Isaac? It would make sense given how in Tainted Maggie's episode they try it with Samson and Lost's souls

Aw, theres apollyon and (pre-statue?) edith in the back! I guess the battle edith was talking about was just a pokemon battle, judging by the pokemon poster with polly, edith, and judas.
Imagine if the end bit turns out to be what Tarnished Lazarus is.
I mean it would make sense, considering Base Laz switches after he dies, T. Laz switches every room, so Tarnished Lazarus wouldn't switch at all. He would become one with both sides. True equilibrium.
