I couldnt agree more. I watch more of Jesse's videos now than i do the other. And he was the one who mentioned Jesse in his videos. Keep it up Jesse. Your content is top notch to a point where i like👍🏼 before i even start watching. 👌🏼
Jesse is amazing…..growing tired of Andrew’s crushing rock stuff…the roller up the mountain stuff really turned me off…. Totally fabricated, at one point he mentioned that just pulling the roller up with a dozer would be too boring….even my wife was expressing WTF? too many cameras by other people…….it’s good to share the wealth but keep it real… just my humble opinion….at 70 years old we watch more TH-cam then regular TV …. Hopefully we can tip Jesse soon….
Your children are tough healthy and happy and will grow into knowledgeable adults with fantastic memories of their childhood and their parents 👍🏻🏴
Said this before and I'll say it again, This channel is my #1 favorite. Your balance of work / family is second to none. The kids & wife are positive asset to the video's (always helping & never complaining about it). You spend time with them, include them, its not just about you. You explain what your doing and why, so I am always learning something here. Absolutely fantastic videos, I came to this channel way back from Andrews, but the 2 things that have this channel above the rest is the explanations & the balance of work/family, the variety of topics you cover (construction, electrical. machine repair). I find myself losing interest in other channels because it's same topic each video, "will it start" has grown way to old, your variety is awesome and you are NEVER afraid to tackle any project your self. Going to add this edit which goes into my reasoning for your #1 status, every video/project has a reason for it, ie buying fixing excavator was for the property build, your video's are each a small part of the greater project, there 's a larger vision we are seeing be built, nothing is a video just for the sake of posting a video hoping it'll be watched. (not sure if I am explaining this idea well but I hope you get it)
Thank you. I have big dreams and this property/area has always been big in my dreams. Its literally what my dreams are made of. Spent alot of time up there when I was a growing up. You are just seeing the very beginning of what is to come. I have very big plans for up there. Thanks for the positive input
Its so good to watch the family enjoying their selves together while work is still getting done, the kids are not like most of the newer generation that are lost without their play stations & game pads, reminds me of mine when they were younger and my childhood, you getting them involved is partly the skill of keeping them interested(and learning for the future) 👍
Dude, teaching your boys your hard work and skills to succeed in life is invaluable for them. Incredible, sir!! I love your content, and you are one of my top five favorite creators. Thank you for making these videos and bringing us along.
It is the passion for what you do for me and the fact that the two of you are really blessed with two amazing sons who seems to love what you do and are tremendously involved. That's amazing and a must to count your blessings. Your sons are pretty jagged up .👏
I cleared a large area of gorse by mounding it up and then clearing the soil and subsoil, then I dug a borrow pit to a depth of 14 feet, then filled it with the scrub and any large rocks and put a layer of soil and subsoil on top of it then spread the good material on top and around to make a hard standing for my friend to feed his cattle on in the winter and it has worked great for 23 years and it hasn’t settled down at all which I didn’t expect. I think what you are doing with the excavator and the rocks is the best solution you have unless you purchase a small crusher and make your own hardcore. Anyway thanks for the long video and taking us along for the ride Jesse 👍🏻🏴
What a lovely way to get through the night. My flu has all but disappeared and this has been effective healing. Quite exciting too, especially for the future. Innovation, ability, spontaniety and guile. Its al there ! Thanks for a great evening :)
A great share Jesse. Appreciate your letting us watch you and family grow and work together. Certainly praying for your safety, health, strength, wisdom and success in His Awesome Name. Blessings and prayers to guide as you live.☝🙏🙌💪👊
This brings back a lot of nice memories. My grandmother bought some property in central New Hampshire. We were always improving things. But perhaps mostly I miss the campfires. I don't miss the bugs. I wasn't there for a lot of the build. I was in the Navy and gone for school and later patrols. After I was discharged, I brought my wife and kids up there every time I could.
I know you’re busy with a lot on your plate. But, I’d love to see you build something with all those boulders you dug up. Be cool if you could include them in your structure. A pond, a wall, fireplace. I love stone structures. I love seeing you be a good daddy brother. Love you guys…
yea it actually cuts really good. its nice for cutting off stumps because you dont have to fire it up, just press a button. if you are cutting alot of firewood then I take out the gas saw
@@jmuller86 It's probably too late when the video is released but for The access road that you have expanded you should call Andrew' if he has several tons of crushing rock stuff and I'm sure he will agree to provide you with a few tons and you may even be able to borrow his compactor roller
quite frankly I was "SHOCKED". I may be an electrician/SCADA Tech/electronic tech but I never had much faith in electric powered anything when there is no substitute for horsepower (ie chainsaws, snowblower etc..). That was impressive. But I will still question "how many cuts did the battery last for", That saw used 2 batteries so if person had 4, would the 2 on charge be ready before the 2 in use are dead 🤔
Nothing better than seeing a hard working man and his family prosper. Keep up the good work young man and kudos to big brother for keeping little brother busy and out of the way of the machinery (or at least trying) lol. Lovely wife and family, all the best.👍🏻
My favorite channel, with lots more to look forward to. Thank You! Your older boy is smart! Start teaching him how to operate that skid steer. That's the perfect place to learn.
Another absolutely brilliant video, Jesse. Some quality family time along with massive steps forward in developing your land. Noah's little video narrations were so wholesome. The boys are growing up so quickly
Hey, Jessie, just wanted to say that I love the fact that your son's actually help you. Most kids nowadays just want to sit in their room and play video games. Here is an idea for you. I made a solar powered hot water tank. Just for my pressure washer. I've used it for about 5 years now. And it hasn't never let me down. Just an idea, love your content. I truly love your long videos. After a hard day's work, it's really relaxing to watch. Always looking forward to your videos. Thank you
installing cameras at the family cabin site is a great idea. Hard to beleive this has been in the maiing for 5 yrs, since I remember watching the videos of your parents not only fixing the roof on the large cabin but also your dad helping you install the sona tubes as well as you digging the one well, . I love your little dogs🙂LOVE how Noah is trying to describ things that are on the cabin property and Adien is helping him🙂you all continue to make memories with your sons, Jesse, as they are rolling out the fabric for the driveway🙂 Great that you have the parents you do that signed over this upstate property to you now, as it will continue to stay in the family. the property is beautiful and to have a stream and fish there, awesome. Wondering do you hunt?? just a thought here but some of those larger rocks can sort of go around the new cabin, and maybe others can line either side of the driveway..?? maybe do a nice firepit with some of them and a raised bed for some gardening? LOVE the idea of a good root celler. Awesome!
I remember you putting the roof on the old cabin and pouring the sonotubes. I didn't realize it had been that long ago lots of great videos since then, really have learned a lot from your easy to understand explanations
Jesse, the drone footage and music choices are perfect. I really love the work you put into these videos. People really are missing out on a great channel.
I'm less than an hour into this video and already one of your better ones so far. Keep up the good work Jesse. P.S. watch out for the ones who don't watch out for themselves.
Florida resident now but had a cabin in the ADK and most of my family still have them there that I get to visit in the summers. I know very well about the rocks and boulders there. I liked watching your boys having fun helping. This will be exciting place for them to grow up. Great job so far. Thanks for letting us watch.
I really enjoyed this video I also enjoyed your other videos but this one was different with the family evolved plus they are still educational looking forward for the next video 👍 great job 😀
The way you run your equipment is like an extension of your arms and hands. It is a pleasure to watch. To be able to watch a design in the making is interesting, whether you are working on your equipment or making something. Also with your family helping or the boy's playing and discovering things is enjoyment. Was hoping you would use those boulders to make a wall around the property.
ok, this was freaking awesome! great video from a-z. great pacing, editing and timelapses on point, nothings dragged out too long... simply a pleasure to watch. wished it didnt end after 2,5h honestly. great work!
Jesse, your videos are always packed with great content, visuals and commentary. I think it’s fantastic that your kids are building memories here just like you did with your family as a young boy, they are life forming. I agree, it’s nice to be comfortable but also a little isolated from the world when you have down time so it’s always nice to close the gate on the world and have quality family time. I can understand now why you got separate equipment for just up there as it would be a real pain toting it all the time. Can’t wait for the build, well done on all the earth work
great job well done Jesse. Brilliant to see the lads getting stuck in. They are being brought up right. Fresh air and running around enjoying themselves. Not sitting behind a computer screen or tablet. 🇬🇧
Thanks Jesse! Great video. Re the rocks - I have a cabin in the woods with about 200’ of dry stacked rock walls along the driveway and slopes that I and my sons have built over the years and they are the number one thing that people like about the place. They are very striking and gets you back to nature easily. As I recall, your mom likes to stack rocks, so perhaps she’d like to help… Although a lot of these rocks are pretty big. Anyway they are fun to build, free, and look great.
Jesse, I love the fact that you have so many rocks and boulders you should be use them to your advantage with defined paths/roads with rock borders to keep the vegetation down and direct all traffic. Maybe even a road noise wall for the cabin. Great progress👍
All of the hard work on the hitachi sure is paying off on this project. Also you have enough large rock/boulders to build a nice retaining wall or something. Thanks for the video.
this topic - "off- grid cabin in Adirondacks" is a really good call. I think the viewers would really like even more content on this topic in particular. You could have a whole channel amount of content just on that property. I am hoping you recalibrate and start going up there more often, just my opinion. People love living vicariously through you out in the woods there. Great property.
Thanks for another great video. looks like you could build a stone cabin with all those boulders :) It's good to see the way your children join in with everything. They are going to love these videos when they are older.
2.5 hrs went by quick. Time for 5hr movies. 😂 You unlocked a memory with those footings. I think that's when I first started watching your channel. Been awhile.
Great video Jesse and family Nice work on the property and the best was when Noah said, where is the mud and your other son said Let the professionals do mom
Just came across this video, and really enjoyed it!
