Is the Hotel Shenandoah building still there? My late grandfather (1904-1992) was born in Hedgesville, lived in Chicago but came home to Martinsburg at retirement. I spent so much time there that I felt like it was my home. He was "Toad" Ross and he lived at 363 Boyd Ave.
They used the hotel ground floor in the movie “Gods & Generals.” Also AMC filmed an series on Al Capone and the mafia... making Martinsburg into NYC and Chicago.

Yes it is. Not sure what's in it. There was a Chinese restaurant on the first floor until about 10 years ago.
