Vespa P200E restoration Part 1

- Back in the mid to late 80’s, I was the proud owner of a Vespa P200E which I rattle-can resprayed in a typically 80’s brash colour scheme. For over 30 years, it’s been stuck in a shed, gathering dust and rust.
Can a clueless, inexperienced mechanic bring this beauty back to life?
Many books read, countless videos watched and numerous forums trawled through. There will be mistakes, there will be cock-ups, there will be scraped knuckles, there will be tears BUT there will some serious fun along the way.
This is NOT an instructional video, quite the opposite 😁 - ยานยนต์และพาหนะ
Fantastic series of videos, I am doing the very same with a PX125 at the moment (10 months already, engine finished, paint prep at the moment) really enjoyed watch your videos 👍
It's great to see the original owner doing a job like this after so many years. Most of the videos are of body shops working flawlessly for a customer. I will enjoy watching you overcome the mistakes.
Nice to see a p200 restoration.
Looking forward to see the end result.

Good luck with it. Im doing my P2 1980 right now.
Hope you are well Dave, great to see a video pop up from you, not quite what I was expecting compared to all the running stuff which I loved but looking forward to seeing the Vespa project progress, all the very best.
Just to prove I've got a life beyond running; not much, but at least something else 🤣
Hi Dave - which Vespa manual are you using in the videos - I have a Haynes one in black and white but yours like it has colour pics
Couldn't have done it without this "How to Restore Classic Largeframe Vespa Scooters".
