    Good video. The diesel fuel filter can actually be taken off with a socket, if you look at the bottom of the fleetguard filter housing. It’s also printed on the side of the filter itself. I also noticed that the plastic air filter cover is missing the rubber breather, without it the both air filters are going to be needed to be replaced a lot sooner. I was wondering did you fill the new hydraulic filter before installing it?

    That filter trick is bad ass

    Hi. How do you adjust the feed wheel springs? Noticed there is two springs but different tensions. Had to change the back one to a shorter hole to be able to get it back on.
    The wheels weren’t sliding so cleaned out and lubed the slides as it wasn’t opening and jamming up. It’s feeding better now but still struggling with the big stuff. I’m assuming the springs should have same tension and both in the same holes so it slides open and closed square and doesn’t bind up?

      I think first you have to check the psi on the rotational motors do you have to have a 3000 or 5000 psi gauge to do that do you have one?

      @Viralclown ปีที่แล้ว

      @@thehydraulicspecialist3176 no I don’t. I changed the spring, now they are the same tension and in the same middle holes. Also cleaned and greased the slides and now actually move easy.
      Also removed the bolts I put in the rake holder I noticed the feed rollers were hitting them they were dented as they were too long I flipped them around. 🤦🏻‍♂️
      I’m hoping it’s good now

      So the rollers actually stop feeding is that what the problem is?

    • @Viralclown
      @Viralclown ปีที่แล้ว

      @@thehydraulicspecialist3176 one did on the left but I think it was hitting the bolt holding the rake holder sticking in too deep inside the feed area. The rollers weren’t spreading apart enough to feed large branches. After taking the springs off it was really hard to pull the slides back apart. We cleaned them on site and oiled them. We got it working ok but occasionally had to push the bigger stuff through manually with other logs.
      I think the biggest issue was that there was also two different springs. Totally different tensions and one was about an inch shorter and heavier gauge. I got a new spring and replaced it. Also swapped the rake bolts around so the head was inside the machine and threads sticking out. The threads had scratches on them from the rollers and the rollers had two chips where the bolts were hitting them. So hopefully all good now 🤞🏻

    Una pregunta; hay alguna válvula que se pueda cerrar al cambiar el hydraulic oil filter. Hoy trabajé en una BC1230 a
    Y desperdicie demasiado hydraulic fluid porque al quitar el filtro viejo se empezó a salir y tuve hard times poniendo el nuevo porque se me derramó todo en las manos.

    Is there a way to adjust the spring under the back door? I was hoping to add more tension to the spring as its really heavy to lower and lift

    • @thehydraulicspecialist3176
      @thehydraulicspecialist3176  ปีที่แล้ว

      Although they did the spring to make it better it has always been a problem. Sometimes the spring will break so you might want to check that and there is very little adjustment. You would have to take it apart and see.

      @@thehydraulicspecialist3176 can’t see any adjustment. I see a welded plate behind the spring. I was hoping for a threaded end so I could add tension

    Did you drain the Hydraulic Oil? Do you have to bleed the lines after replacing Haudraulic Oil Filter?

    • @thehydraulicspecialist3176
      @thehydraulicspecialist3176  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      No there is no draining of anything it’s it is only a 500 hour service which is replacing the Hydro filter nothing else, now if it was 1000 hour service then that’ll be different.
