      @@travisthetreeman hey brother. Im. Ot a tree guy but i been cutting trees on out property for years and years. Looking at this vermeet 1000 fiesel. Is the 48 hp deutz ok or should i hold out for the 72 hp diesel? Mostly just green tree tops and brush. Thanks. First time we could afford new in a while want to make a solid purchase. Any advice you have to offer would be deeply appreciated

      @@dekonfrost7 if your hand feeding, the 49 horse will be perfectly fine. If you’re trying to chip material 8 inches in bigger on a regular basis, I would hold out and get a 70 horse or bigger. The 49 horse is under powered for logs

      We custom made them out of fence tubing and bolts to the machine. Super handy for ground clean up and storage.

      Yes, if its well taken care of.
      5,000 hrs is about the limit in my opinion

    Have any of you ever had to replace the BLOCK with the threaded holes in it? Our knives just came loose and ripped all of the bolts out of the holes leaving major damage in the holes. Vermeer tells me that the mounting blocks can be replaced.

    • @travisthetreeman
      @travisthetreeman  ปีที่แล้ว

      Thats correct but its expensive. Alot of times you have to replace the drum. Hope it works out for you.
