Wouldnt be suprised if the 60 year old arrested is actually just a patsy for the higher ups, saves a manager from any responsability and they dont have to pay her a pension.
If this arrested person is found to be negligent, resulting in the deaths and other problems of those in care, I have no doubt they will be up for an award from Starmer.......

All private care homes should be closed and nhs should take in charge of running all care homes, private care homes are nothing more than money digging businesses
I've actually heard from a former care home worker that there's a lack of qualified, clinical personnel, which resulted in poor conditions in the care home she worked at. And the nasty management didn't help.
They've always been about money grabbing. I remember 28 years ago when my Grandfather was in one and they left a dead fly in his water cup- the staff and management just don't care. Keep your elderly loved ones at home with you if you can!
The elderly female suspect is the "fall guy" on this - outlined here is "procedural aspect" because it is carbon monoxide poisoning. First when this news leaked out - there was immediate assumption of a criminal intent by the alleged elderly female as suspect, but herein averred that there is negligence - by how?
@@mertonsardeen2242 How about people looking after their mum or dad themselves with support provided at home when needed? And it must be cheaper than £1500-£2000 a week for a care home place
@@DrDolittle744 People who qualify would still have to pay for those services at a much lower cost of course. The logistical cost of transporting patients would be dramatically reduced with massive savings.
Nothing will ever change. Care homes basically have no regulation that is properly implemented and many arent even qualified to be working in them. Every single care home should be investigated, the buildings checked to make sure they are up to a safe standard and all workers should also be checked. In my opinion there should also be security camera`s in every care home where it is safe and appropriate to install them and these should be monitored 24/7 by companies not connected with the care homes. Those that operate or work in the care homes should only see the footage from security camera`s when there is an issue. How many more need to die before anything changes?
Keep the elderly at home with their families- if the families don't 'care' enough to care for them, can you really expect a stranger on minimum wage to 'care'?
praying for the families, as a carer for my two elderly parents, this is heartbreaking. Utterly dispicable and yes, negligent. I expect to see those resposible to see the full force of the law from the PM by minority.
Has anyone noticed that the obituary columns are doing brisk business? Not been cold at all yet this autumn but an increased number of elderly have passed suddenly. Any relationship to the call ups from the local surgery for the next iteration of sshhh, you know what ?
So as they think carbon monoxide was the problem my question is this where is the gas boiler that does the heating in that care home and why have they arrested a woman when they havent got a clue as yet ?
If I have to hear " lessons will be learnt" once more I'll explode! It's a get out for so many situations in this country.
Angry gammon.
Surely there should be carbon monoxide alarms in all rooms & all corridors within the care home, with all tested monthly?🤔

Very well said - private care sectors only looks for profit doesn’t matter the method they do - from no rights for the workers to lack of training …
State needs to be stronger and in charge of care for people - it shouldn’t never be profitable
