    Nice video. What tablet did you use and how did you mount it?

      Hey Keith. Thanks. At the moment its a basic and temp setup. Its a Samsung A7 Lite, discontinued and very basic but works ok with DMD 2 software. Am currently looking at a better Tab but the A7 does work. I have heard that the Active 3 is a better choice, personally I would like something better than the Active 3 and A7 Lite with a 1000 Nits display, the price does start to rocket so it depends on what you want to do. For basic ADV riding I don't think you need the greatest but if you have the budget....go for it .Its mounted with a wind deflector camp taken off my Africa Twin for temp install and cable ties. hopefully my tower arrives from Wang soon and then I will re install. There is a 3D printable "bracket" out there that goes below the Kove LCD and Wang has one but be careful how low you mount it, looking down while riding is not cool

    Leka video Mark. I think we're going to see lots of these around as well as aftermarket accessories. The stability due to COG will be a big bonus ("riding on rails" as you said). Other than going on a MX track, the route of your outing was a thorough test. You mentioned "a tower" - are you getting a stock upgrade or generic one like Rade Garage? Another question, is that saddle bag a GL Great Basin?

      @mfthedronepoet9745  3 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      The bike is already very popular in North America and Europe with big companies making parts, there's already 3 in Hillcrest. I am getting the rally tower type A from Uncle Wang plus a whole lot of other parts split between Ali Express and Uncle Wang. The bag is an old Giant Loop bag that has done well. All the other luggage gear I use is Turkana

      @@mfthedronepoet9745 Those GL bags are great. Apart from the Great Basin like yours, I have the slightly smaller Coyote for my 690 and even smaller Mojavi for medical support. I think you've got a winning recipe there for lotsa fun. Good luck with the few niggles and happy miles & smiles ahead. 😁

    Thanks for review. Are you sure your orange sprocket is a 49? What ECU are you running? Decatalyzed? Last but not least: where (which country in Africa) do you live?

    • @mfthedronepoet9745
      @mfthedronepoet9745  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Thanks. Definitely a 49, others are running the 51 or 52 in the tight stuff, I am ok with the 49 for now, it's the stock sprocket from factory. I have heard that the rims and sprockets come from the same company that KTM uses and is the same sprocket bolt pattern. Currently running the stock ECU which is a 1.14 I think, I have the Pro ECU on its way from Uncle Wang and then want to remove the cat. I have left the cat in as it is running pretty lean with the stock ECU and it will run even leaner when I remove the cat hence me getting the Pro ECU. I am in Durban, South Africa.

      Weird: the stock sprocket (49) is black...at least here in europe.

      @@mfthedronepoet9745 It's not the same factory as KTM uses. KTM has Haan wheels on the rally replica which are produced in germany. No other Offroad model has cush drive hubs. They are copies of the Haan wheels, but they are definitely not the same wheel.

    That tablet needs 12 v direct to the battery -- the USB has not got enough juice to charge it while riding .. you have to connect it to the bike... that is why it dies

    • @mfthedronepoet9745
      @mfthedronepoet9745  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Thanks, I was thinking the same thing, in other words, the factory USB does not have the amperage output to give the 2 or 3 amps the tablet needs to charge. My idea is to take 12v straight from the battery to a 5v USB fitting when I fit the Rallye Tower
