As someone that is into Metrology, I would have loved to see how they inspect the barrel rifling. Do they section a barrel and use a optical VMM or something like a OGP Smartscope or another method? I hope they are not naive enough to think hammer forging makes perfect rifling automagically! It doesn't, there is tweaking and it changes with each batch of material but I guess most people will never really know but it's pretty interesting and cool to see using a OGP system just what u are actually getting.
So awkward . . . Dude walks into the plant as a visitor (where his cameraman already is, so we know it's fake) and then proceeds to tell his host what they're going to do. It's like going over to someone's house for dinner and telling them what to cook and how to cook it.
Trex arms has a good vid out on DD. They have good things to say and are probably the golden standard on 2A, being directly involved in passing legislation in their home state. I personally am interested in manufacturing and build processes. So I enjoy content similar to this. We don’t have to hound every company or only like one company because we own them. Becoming fan boys for them, I personally lean towards Sons Of Liberty Gun Works as they in my home state. But there are many good manufacturers out there.
Seems like you guys shot way more footage than you used... Please give us a real Deep Dive in a longer video!
Do LWRC next!

I wonder the same. I imagine they use hard gages though. Not sure what you can stick down there that would still be accurate enough to measure.
Glad to see they’re even using some USA made tools like that Estwing hammer
How Recoil doesn't make way more videos and colab with others is crazy. Don't even get me started on the magazine
Thanks ,very interesting!
I love that huge old glory!
14.5" 6.5 CM barrel for the DD5
Thank You for the video.
Thanks for watching!
You need some large steel bollards to protect that easy-to-defeat front door.
DD is the best to Me!
8:35 I never seen a full FDE DD on there site.
I still don't understand why they put their vertical grip so far forward.
Mine lives farther forward I have long arms.

They ,and all firearms manufacturers need to move to Texas
DD the anti 2A company "yay"
It ended abruptly, only part way round factory. Too much woffle , not enough action. 👎
Get your hand out of your pocket.
This stinks like shill content
