Lovely videos. You can tell they both connected with each other. It's as if they knew each other for years, not just a few short months in 1955. Liz seemed to truly understand Jimmy's sensitivity and never slagged him off. She said he may have been a tough nut to crack at first, but he was a very sensitive man deep down. Bless them both. RIP, Liz and Jim. Friends forever.

I thought I saw all the backstage photos of Jimmy on Giant! Boy was I wrong. What a marvelous assembly of photos of these two great stars! Both look confident happy and relaxed! Its pretty, obvious they were falling for each other. I wonder how many more on location photos there are of this movie.
My Daddy used to say, "Live fast, die young & leave a beautiful corpse. " Those were James Dean's words. So sad, but they really looked happy here on the set of the great movie "Giant" also starring Rock Hudson &a very young Dennis Hopper.
I think that Jimmy had a sensuality, maybe intensity, different from the classical charm of the other actors of his time. The way Jimmy looked was very intense, his eyes I mean. He could speak just with his eyes. I do believe this is a rare trait.
