Love, love, love the coconut styling milk as well as the yucca styling milk. The smoothie is sometimes too thick for my curls and weighs them down. Curious to try a diffuser and thermal protector. Never actually tried this when styling my hair. Awesome video!
I love Shea Moisture. 90% of my hair products are Shea Moisture. I would love to see your day 2, 3, 4 etc. afterwards. I usually touch up curls day 2 and 3 if possible and then just wear my hair in a bun until my next wash. 😁
Chenchi Marie Tell me about it! Lol. But I wouldn't trade my curls for the world. I just had my first child, a baby girl, and I'm so excited to see what her hair will be like as she grows. when it's wet after a bath it curls at the ends ❤️ but as it dries it straightens out. I didn't have the best hair role models growing up so I'm so glad I've changed how I view my hair for her to see natural hair is gorgeous!!
I haven't had that much luck with Shea Moisture Shampoos and conditioners but I do like their deep conditioners. The shampoos strip my hair similar to a sulfate shampoo and the conditioners don't have enough slip for me.
Girl, I love, love, she's moisture products. I need to buy more. I have 4 for my hair, the coconut bar soap, and a body wash. Love them all. Never disappoint me.
Shea Moisture products are the only thing I use in my hair. I have great luck with the high porosity co-wash, shampoo and deep conditioner. Also, I like the JBCO conditioner and Superfruit deep conditioner, as well as the Superfruit Rinse Out/Leave-in conditioner. My holy grail styler is the Superfruit gel-cream. I can even use the coconut & hibiscus smoothie in tiny amounts on wash day to encourage and soften my curls. The trick with Shea Moisture and having thin, fine 3b curls is finding the right amounts to use so my hair's not weighed down. But once I get thru the learning curve of each product I absolutely love my hair!!
I love the curl enhancing smoothie, the frizz-taming smoothie and the JBCO leave-in from them. Awesome products. I only buy their stylers, because they last me quite a while as opposed to say a rinse-out conditioner, and I feel I get my money's worth. I find them to be quite expensive (here in the EU you pay around €20 a product).
La La, the last few times I got them from pakshop.eu - I have bought from them 2 times with great experiences both times. I also once ordered directly from the US, from Curlmart, boy the import duties I had to pay! No, it is worth it to order locally.
Thanks. It looks like they are having some specials at the moment on pakshop! I live in Germany and usually order from gtworld.de, I think the prices are not too bad. Sometimes there are cheaper prices on Amazon, I usually check and compare before I order.
La La, by all means, stay with what you're comfortable with ordering from; also, pakshop requires an amount you should buy before you can get free shipping with your order, that differs from country to country - they are based in The Netherlands, I think.
These, with the addition of 2 more deep conditioners and 1 smoothie, are the exact products I'd love to try. SheaMoisture products have worked very well for me in the past.
All my products are shea moisture. Right now I am loving their Coconut Shampoo & Conditioner. It smells amazing line but my regulars are the coconut & hibiscus cowash & enhancement smoothie cream and the Jamican Black Castor oil Line.
I just started transitioning and I'm loving all the shea moisture products I've been trying. I've liked the "smoothies" especially, they make styling my curly hair way easier, since I'm not really accustomed to that yet. Keep up the great videos, they're a lot of help ❤️❤️❤️ xo 😘
I love your hair!! This video so informative! There are so many different products that I don;t know if Im using too many or not enough! My all time favorite smell from Shea Moisture is the manuka honey masque. The product was too heavy for my hair. I recently bleached it and damaged my curl pattern so I have been using Shea Moisture Jamaican Black Castor Oil Leave conditioner which my hair seems to be loving right now. Im still trying to figure out how to make the manuka mask work!
I've tried a couple different products from shea moisture and I really liked the curl enhancing milk that you used in this video. I'm soon moving to england (from sweden) and then it will be easier to get more products to try. I'm very excited
I use the curl enhancing smoothie since I saw your video recommending it and I love ❤️ it. I would like to try some more of the products in this line. Thanks so much for your videos.
It's good to see us "latinas" embracing their curls. I recently cut off most of my damaged hair from years of chemically straightening and looking for some good products to help me with all my frizz. I will certainly give these products a try and glad see they work on your type hair, since we may share similarities. Thanks for sharing!
Yaneisy Ramos does that mask work well cause I wanna buy a Shaw moisture mask but I'm stuck on weather to buy that one or the Jamaican black caster oil one
Honestly I had the same issue, I think a good place to start with their deep conditioners is the yellow one that has Shea butter in it. The restorative deep conditioner. It's simple and has moisturizing ingredients. I have fine low porosity hair. I liked it a lot. Just try one by one!
your hair always looks amazing! love your curls :) wish I could find a shea moisture product that would work for my hair... I haven't had much luck yet. you should try their african black soap line body wash, smells so good!
I tried the Shea Moisture Coconut & Hibiscus shampoo & conditioner last year & it did not work for my thin, fine, curly hair, but I've been using the JBCO shampoo, masque & leave-in & my hair looks fantastic! I definitely want to try some products from the other lines.
I love Shea Moisture! Since discovering them 100% of my hair products are Shea Moisture. The Coconut & Hibiscus Curl & Style Milk is my holy grail styler :)
I've tried the African Black Soap Deep Cleansing Shampoo and my hair didn't like it, but I really love the body soap and all other Shea Moisture products. I'm still looking for the perfect shampoo and even though my hair is high porosity and I love the high porosity line co-wash; strangely the low porosity line shampoo is working well for me.
It's taken me a while to get to know my hair and I feel like I finally have. And I also think my hair is a lot like yours in terms for what products my hair likes! ❤️
I love Shea moisture the one product I really want to try is the curl smoothie. Also I would love to see your hair if you only used one product. Thanks
This is great! Thanks! Does your hair get weighed down easily? Mine does sometimes, how do you keep that from happening without your hair being too dry from lack of product?
I adore your volume and body! It's hard for me to get that with my fine hair, which I know you have too. I've gotten a few things from Shea Moisture in the past, but although their drugstore, they can be pricey. So to me, they're definitely a splurge.
Did you find the same hold with the coconut and hibiscus styling milk as you do with the curl enhancing smoothie? I'm debating between the two and not sure what to get!
Shay I've tried both and to be honest I did feel a difference. The Styling Milk felt lighter, kinda like a watered down version of the Curl Enhancing Smoothie.
Shay depends on your hair type. If you hair is easily weighed down and you need a lighter hold go for the milk. If you needs more moisture and hold go for the smoothie. I personally love the smoothie :-)
I love the smoothie as well, and you can always use a lesser amount if your hair is easily weighed down. I have wavy, barely curly, hip+ length hair, and I use about a coinsize amount to disperse throughout my hair (scrunch it in). If I use more, it turns into a sticky, residue-y mess.
I've been growing out my natural hair for almost a year now and I feel like I still have a lot more to go until it starts to look properly healthy and with a decent curl pattern. I've tried so many products but out of all of them i love the Sheath Moisture brand. But I don't know if I should stick to one line of the products. (Like use all the JBCO products) or mix them up like you did now. I feel like I need hair tutor with me constantly to guide me through this process lol
We have the same holy grail! lol I live by the coconut & hibiscus smoothie! I have not had much luck with the styling milk. :( I was looking for something to protect my hair from heat, so I am definitely going to try the thermo- protect milk. I want to use a diffuser for my graduation because I am going to have to wake up super early and I am unsure about going on 2nd-day curls? I am going to try and copy your routine :P Do you have any tips for using a diffuser? Thanks so much! Love watching your videos!
Hi RisasRizos, lovely results! did you feel much residue feeling at the end when fully dried? I feel the smoothie from shea moisture leaves me with a lot of cast residue in my hands :( ThankS
I've been looking for a new product for my curls do you recommend the deep conditioner or or the curl and style milk for more defined curls ? Love your hair by the way 😍
I am transitioning and I am spending all the spare money I have to get the right products for my hair. These products seem like they helped your hair a lot. Were they expensive ? Would you say they are better than as I am or etae products. What about against using raw usda approved oils and mask ingredients ?
Hi Curly..!!! Could you give a tip That help me to remember the order of all of the products to use. That's too much products for me, but I would like to try all of them to see how it works all of that on my curls.. 🤣 It works perfect on yours... ❤️ I use Sea Moisture and I love it. Hugs 🤗
RisasRizos I have tried the Coconut and Hibscus line both the shampoo and conditioner and the curl soufflé. I've tried the line for thin curly line shampoo, conditioner, also the black castor oil hair masque, the manuka honey masque. I've also you the 10 in 1 renewal shampoo, cond. deep conditioning mask and the Shea butter mask as well. I have baby fine thin hair which my natural color is a combo of white, gray and black. I've been following the curly girl method for about 2 years now. When I do the scrunching with my hair wet you can see large patches of my scalp. I wash my hair twice a week. I haven't used heat for 15 years.
When I was first found out about Shea Moisture, the Coconut & Hibiscus curl & style milk was amongst the first few products I used. I loved it for the time being. I loved their smell and how refreshing/moisturized it left my hair. I haven't quite gotten a routine with their products so this video was helpful. I'm thinking I may give Shea Moisture another try! Thank you for the details!
I think u said before that u have low porosity and now you are using a high porosity product, is it possible for the porosity of the hair to change? and can you make an international give away, please?????? :)
Im guess im on the wrong site(the one for women) but fine as you are i could nt help it. Im a brother looking to get my hair curly but i havent found the right products yet (probably cause ive been wearing the bald fade for so long)
I know this has nothing to do with the video , but i dont know if you like get notifications or just check the comments and i don't wanna comment on something from abor 3 years ago if you don't get notifications lol! but is it okay to do a protein treatment and deep condition like the same day or no?
Janai Brown, yes it is! It's a GREAT idea to follow up a protein treatment with a moisture-infusing deep conditioner that LACKS protein. This way you are restoring moisture-protein BALANCE to your hair.
Hair "masques" don't deep condition unless heat is added to open the cuticle to allow the moisture to penetrate. Otherwise, they are simply conditioners. Use a regular conditioner in the shower and once a week put the masque in damp hair, apply a plastic bag or processing cap and either sit under the dryer, a heating cap, or use a microwaveable heating cap for a minimum of 30 minutes and up to an hour. Rinse out the conditioner and style as usual. You will see a huge difference using heat to deep condition once a week. You can also sit under a hooded steamer for even more benefits by loosely clipping your hair up on top of your head with the masque in (and no plastic cap) and sitting under the steamer until the timer runs out. Steam really helps with hair elasticity and strength :-)

Liliana Reynoso that is me! Even if I wear my bonnet it still is a bit difficult after day 2
That's the next video I have planned to film. My hair in a week! It's just a matter of finding the time to film each day! 😩
It's cool that you mixed different Shea Moisture lines.. I always stuck to one line like the Jamaican caster oil line or the raw shea butter.
I absolutely love shea moisture products!!! I would love to see how you refresh your curls on the 3rd or 4th day using recent products!
Your hair came out so amazing omgosh! 😍
Really want to try the high porosity deep conditioner! Love the manuka and honey already. Thanks for the video!
love shea moisture and this video also helped me see that I dont have to stick to my go-to products! i want to try some new stuff now!
Never tried Shea Moisture before but I'm thinking about using beard grooming products for my channel
Ti Tye Takeover DEFINITELY try their men's line. It's new but I've been hearing REALLY great things about it!
Shea Moisture products are the only thing I use in my hair. I have great luck with the high porosity co-wash, shampoo and deep conditioner. Defiantly trying that deep conditioner next!
addicted to the raw Shea butter line, awesome routine!!

Marleen G. It's cheaper from Superdrug and boots(UK) and I think they ship all over Europe too
Loved the video! could u do an updated summer beach/pool routine? 😘😘
Love how your hair came out! Imma have to try that deep conditioner because my back is also dry, even though I'm low porosity.
Rocio, your hair is healthy and beautiful, it goes well with everything. I love it ❤❤❤

I use the shea moisture manuka honey and mafura old intensive hydration hair masque but I would love more shea moisture product
Yaneisy Ramos does that mask work well cause I wanna buy a Shaw moisture mask but I'm stuck on weather to buy that one or the Jamaican black caster oil one
Brianna Vasquez I guess it depends on your hair I use cause of lack of moisture but now I’m think of using the black caster oil
Honestly I had the same issue, I think a good place to start with their deep conditioners is the yellow one that has Shea butter in it. The restorative deep conditioner. It's simple and has moisturizing ingredients. I have fine low porosity hair. I liked it a lot. Just try one by one!
Wonder if that's what's going on with my dry patch. I'm gonna do a porosity test specifically on that section next wash day. Thx for sharing!
i adore you so much and hope you post soon💓

You should try the Shea moisture face mask. 💙❤💙❤💙

I tried the coconut and hibiscus line but I think i should try something else
Those are many of my faves.
would you do a review on the maui hair smoothie they have?? Maybe compare it to shae moisture smoothie? would love that thanks!
You have a beautiful curl pattern.
Hi RisasRizos, lovely results! did you feel much residue feeling at the end when fully dried? I feel the smoothie from shea moisture leaves me with a lot of cast residue in my hands :(

I've been looking for a new product for my curls do you recommend the deep conditioner or or the curl and style milk for more defined curls ? Love your hair by the way 😍
yas i love shea moisture.
How many times a week do you wash your hair? Is it every other day? Or everyday?

Do you brush your hair before you shower or do you detangle it while you shower?
hi rocio! how long does it take to do your hair after coming out of the shower?
GIRLL what shampoo do you recomend if i dont have caspa itchy scalp??
Hi Curly..!!! Could you give a tip That help me to remember the order of all of the products to use. That's too much products for me, but I would like to try all of them to see how it works all of that on my curls.. 🤣 It works perfect on yours... ❤️ I use Sea Moisture and I love it. Hugs 🤗
Would you say those products would work on someone with really thin fine hair?
I haven't had any luck with Shea moisture products. Tried several of the different lines.
Polly Hall oh noooooo!!! Have you tried the lines together or just a few here and there
RisasRizos I have tried the Coconut and Hibscus line both the shampoo and conditioner and the curl soufflé. I've tried the line for thin curly line shampoo, conditioner, also the black castor oil hair masque, the manuka honey masque. Love Shea Moisture products. Half the products I use are SM......
Hola Risa Risos queria preguntarle que si los productos de shea moisture vienen con proteina . Que si mucha proteina en cabello no es bueno?
When I was first found out about Shea Moisture, the Coconut & Hibiscus curl & style milk was amongst the first few products I used. I loved it for the time being. I loved their smell and how refreshing/moisturized it left my hair. I haven't quite gotten a routine with their products so this video was helpful. I'm thinking I may give Shea Moisture another try! Thank you for the details!

Im guess im on the wrong site(the one for women) but fine as you are i could nt help it.
Im a brother looking to get my hair curly but i havent found the right products yet (probably cause ive been wearing the bald fade for so long)

Hi who do you recommend to trim hair at Ringlettes
My 9 years old hair is looking alot like hay and super dry and no matter what I do it's tying into knots
rocío en español por favor.😘
gah! I can't believe I missed the pop-up store....again!!LOL
so jealous of your curls 😣😣😣😣
me llegó en inglés creí estar suscrita a el castellano
You are a doll. I think I have a crush. 😍
Shea moisture don't do nothing for me anymore 😫
You are supper pretty and your hair is to
Americans have so many product options 🙄
