What a fun filter over the room, but singer is highlighted because she isn't in the filter. The flowers in the sax cracked me up. I miss Adam's comedic facial expressions, which always provide their own side conversation. Hope he comes back soon! Well done, Scott and master musicians!

@@Bowling_Dude also appears to have a bit of smokeyness (maybe filter or lighting), which would probably be normal in a club years ago with everyone smoking cigars and cigarettes. so sorta fits
Both are on the same room, she just has a spotlight on her, removing that misty/smokey/faded tone the background has
This style of vibrato is so underrated and niche. It's an art to sing like this and takes work! Great vocal technique girl! 👏

Oh, this is simply sublime. Spectacular, even by PMJ standards. What a voice! And when she starts trading fours with the band it was like *chills*. Killer arrangement, too, as per usual. Taylor Swift is doing pretty well for herself, but Scott's arrangements of her tunes in particular show just how talented a songwriter she is.
People are always hesitant to talk about her talent as a songwriter because the pop music style is always being looked down. If you strip down all of the elements of pop music, you will begin to see that her songs can be transformed into anything. That's when you will realize her immense talent.
I hear that "La Vie En Rose" flourish at the end there. Well done as always.
Actually I believe it’s taking inspiration from Musetta’s Waltz from La boheme but either way the arrangement was amazing

Caity Gyorgy is something else! That is NOT an arraignment/song for a "good or very good" vocalist. That takes a top notch, professionally trained voice and true talent. Loved the scat solos. Just wonderful all the way around. Fantastic band!

I often wonder what the original artists think of these versions.
I think they enjoy the more creative ones like this.. like how writers love the more bizarre fanfictions but not the ones where they basically copy the book.

What a great arrangement and delivery. Caity is a swinging jazz singer, what outstanding musicality. I’m a fan forever. The band is really tight, gorgeous sound production worthy of this high level of performance. And the piano player, man, the piano player. Scott Bradlee only gets better and better. Thanks to all for the music.
