    We must continue to have religious tolerance in our country. Havering Council is making a wrong decision. Goverment has never paid attention to protests, but when the law is being broken, it is the responsibilty of the Police to arrest and charge the persons. As the weeks have gone by, there has been more and more disturbance. When there is no consequences for bad actions, it will worsen.

    The point about it not being organised like the IRA is valid. However when a group holds the same ideology and is prepared to act on it it doesn't have to be organised like the IRA, and that is the point. It allows behaviour to occur that wouldn't be if it happened under the banner of a recognised, organised group. It also means the authorities can only act against the individual and not the group. There is always an excuse for the individual. We are on a slippery slope of authorities backing away from issues because it is easier so the group that is prepared to agitate and shout the loudest will win.

    No mention of the 7/7 bombings in London 2005 as a direct result of British involvement in the so called " War on Terror " from a group within the UK regardless of origins. The UK is directly involved in the support of Israel , we have Royal Navy ships in the Med and Persian Gulf but the difference here we have seen the extreme left and activists Hizb utTharir taking to the streets in a show of supremacy in the capital plus millions more migrants of unknown origin , many of which have simply gone missing AND our activities in Afghanistan and Syria just to mention those 2 , for which we have been promised retaliation by the Taliban and ISIS REGARDLESS of whether WE consider ourselves the most tolerant nation in which to live , its our actions overseas in which we are judged by other cultures .To say that we are not expecting a proportional increase in the likelyhood of escalated terrorist response is pretty naiive to say the least , particularly after UK security have announced that known terrorists have entered the country weeks ago which are still at large . These are circumstances way different to what was evident prior to 7/7 .
    We should carry on regardless as we have always done and deal with any extremist activities as and when they arise regardless even if our security forces are unable to cope . This has always been the British way .

    • @johnwoods7650
      @johnwoods7650 ปีที่แล้ว

      I wasn't sure from your comment what your position was about a number of events you mentioned. My position is that 7/7 arose because the government, against the wishes of the population, had allowed in as migrants vast numbers of muslims who did not have to have allegiance to the country and culture they were joining. As to US and British involvement in the "War on Terror", that arose mainly through 911, an attack on a NATO Ally of the UK and the agreement to assist an attacked ally. Of course, actions have consequences, but would you have suggested not routing out terrorist training camps in Saddam Hussein's Iraq, especially after he had previously invaded Kuwait and part of Saudi Arabia? Imagine the affect on the oil price and industries and economies in the West, as well as the rights or wrongs of the situation. We had previously had an oil embargo forced on us by the Arabs in the early 1970s that had forced the UK to have a 3-day week. Lefties complain about economic hardship, then want to stop us defending our friends and interests, plus they want mass immigration of people who don't integrate nor contribute. Don't get me wrong, I don't think all sects and nationalities of muslim are the same. However, if you look at the history of some muslim countries in the Mediterranean and West Asia in the last 125 years, you'll see genocide by the Turks, intolerance and oppression of minority religions in most of North Africa and West Asia, and gradual Islamic terrorism in Europe - I cite Al-Qaedah, Islamic State and Hamas and associated barbarians. Some of this is due to the changed fortunes of muslim countries in the Arabian Gulf and the Islamic Revolution in Iran. They think they are stronger now, so they try it on.

      @@johnwoods7650 No my position is to continue as we have always done whether it is our response to the Ottomans for the genocides of the Armenian, Assyrian or ethnic Greeks during the Great War , the 1929 massacre , the ethnic cleansing of the Jews by the Hashemites from Judea Samaria post 1948 , our response to the Jordanian after they put down their fellow Palestinian Muslims in the same region during the Black September uprising in 1970 etc., simply because its the right thing to do for the security of the region (if not our own ) if only for the short term which is better than no term at all .
      My point was that the 2 guests did not see the greater threat as a result of all the very recent actions by the UK overseas and the very different events and increased levels of activism that are playing out on our streets now to those prior to the backlash in 2005 .
      I can now see the far left extremist " crazies" among the disaffected groups outside the Religion of Peace escalating the violence and danger to public safety in the name of the " Palestinian " people being added to this already volatile mixture and it is up to the British people to respond to this if our security forces are incapable or now unwilling ( as it would seem to many ) to do so .

      I grew up in Tower Hamlets. In the 80s as a young teen i was harassed DAILY! Old men coming out if the mosques trying to buy me as a prostitute and gangs of youths threatening violence and r..pe. by aged 14 i was breaking noses of old men and youths. It changed me as a person. I was quiet shy placid to being temperamental aggressive and defensive. Am not a racist. I felt sorry for my friends, girls brought up in islam. Never allowed to have any form of childhood. Tower hamlets taught me strength that I didnt know I had. I have little to no tolerance for nasty BS from muslims or anyone else. God bless anyone who had to grow up in that scum area that it has become. I used to feel sorry for them in the 70s when they were being attacked, their homes attacked etc and hear all the skinheads chanting in the streets looking to wage war against them. We never had the same problems with africans, jews, vietnamese, chinese or caribbean people coming to the east end. Its these allah nutjobs that are the problem and when you read the quran and hadiths you understand that this will never stop unless they are all booted out of the UK

      @@deniseg-hill1730ah then you're the problem. Why keep housing the same type of families?

      @@-j308 The staff have to follow the housing lettings policy. You cant just let to whoever you want. The same goes for all the allocation of Council and Housing property in the entire UK. We couldn't talk about what we really thought about it all at work we had to talk about it outside and make sure we were not overheard. Some of us (white ethnic Brits) wouldn't dare voice our opnions we would have been sacked immediately. We had to be so careful about what we said in work it was like walking on eggshells all the time. The tenants could accuse us of racism and they would be believed even if we had never said a word. That is why I always took a Bangladeshi colleague with me on all housing application interviews.
      I remember one year before Ramadan started that we non Muslims were told to eat outside our office which was ridiculous because we didn't have a separate area to do that, however when our Bangladeshi colleagues heard about it they were furious and had a right go at the Management. If we had had our way we would have put people who had been waiting the longest first (they were what we called the real Londoners). Most of their sons and daughters moved out of the Borough and bought property in Essex (it was cheap then) because they couldn't get housed within the borough. Eventually their elderly parents moved out as well into flats for people over 60 so they could be near their sons and daughters.
      The council did knockthroughs 2 flats into one because the Syhletis (Bangladesh) had large families which reduced the amount of available housing.
      The housing associations started to build 5,6,7 and 8 bedroom houses with 2 kitchens (to house those with 2 wives) on the Isle of Dogs which was at the time 99% white locals, it caused a right stink and the Isle of Dogs traditionally a Labour voting area with 98% social housing voted for a national front candidate and he won. There were demonstrations every time there was a council meeting.
