A magical effects pedal indeed. Amazing how it seems to "choose" the upper and lower note playback and which ones to mirror or sustain. (with some clever adjustments on the fly) Great composition and performance. 🎺😎

@@seisuke yeah he's one of my musical heros. that's a nice mic. have you ever tried playing 100% wet through the pedals to remove the trumpet sound? using the yamaha silent brass for example, you get a 100% wet sound out the speakers, different perspective on the sounds. Anyway, all good, love it , thanks for the response
@PhilHansonTrumpet Yes, for example, in this video, I used a mouthpiece with a piezo pickup attached to it. Nice sound, isn’t it? ; )

I think that's the mute. I am actually wondering about the microphone and recording chain used by the musician. It sounds great and seems much more practical than using a full size microphone.😄 @@scottwilson8978

All the sounds come from the trumpet. I didn't use any synthesizers!

Is the microcosm solo or in sync with other pedals ?
In this video, only the Microcosm and the reverb are used, so the Microcosm is not synchronized to any other devices. However, the Microcosm can output a clock, which is used as the master clock in some other videos.
@@seisukethank you for your response and clarification. The Microcosm is deep and different. Unlike other pedals which are definite, with the microcosm you never know what to expect ❤

Beautiful, but let's be real the trumpet and reverb were doing the heavy lifting. Skill is evident. Microcosm adds some nice ambience but the instrumentation is carrying the performance.
