    I just bought an unpainted spoiler
    Do I need to sand it or degrease it?
    Would it just be fine with cleaning it with alcohol and then just the prime, paint, clear coat. Thank you for your videos.

    I head it was wrong to cut and polish right after a paint job, or is this just frowned upon?? I have a gun and Ive shot some trim and what not and waited months before the first cut and polish. not bashing at all, just curious. Looks great btw!!!!

    • @josha7548
      @josha7548  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      You can cut and polish it the next day as long as it's dry but sometimes it can dye back and look not so shiny but you can let it sit and dry a couple more days if you have the time , some places might wait a while Till they cut and polish, but what ever works and the job is clean at the end 👍 , thanks for checking out the video

    Hey mate just wandering what the grit of that scuff pad would roughly be? I’ve recently gotten a lip spoiler for my car in Australia and I need to colour match it or make it black and will follow your tutorial minus the paint gun

    • @josha7548

      It was 800 Grit , but u can use water sandpaper 600 Grit is good to use to

    • @flash52958
      @flash52958 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@josha7548 awesome absolute legend! I couldn’t get any 600 grit from the local auto parts store so I just got 800 wet/dry grit and I guess I’ll just work a bit harder. 1 more question regarding a crack, I’m going to drill the end of it to prevent further cracking but what would I use to fix the crack? There’s also a gouge/ chunk which snapped out of it so I’m going to build it back up with Fibreglass body filler, would this be the correct method of doing it? Thanks in advance I really appreciate it

    • @josha7548
      @josha7548  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@flash52958 yeah fiberglass and body filler will be good, if you have a crack you want to sand or grind out the crack and then use fiberglass and body filler to fill it in
