It was General Cinema's last policy trailer before AMC Theatres swiped them. This was when Cellphones started becoming popular until Smartphones took over.

I miss General Cinema. I worked at the 14-screen General Cinema in Greenwood, IN, in November 2001. Mello Yello was (and still is) my favorite soda. Care Bears gummy bears were my favorites in the concession stand candy case. What memories!

I remember going to the 14 screen General Cinema in Greenwood around November or December of 2000 and have a question. Was General Cinema selling Coca Cola beverages around that time?

Had GCC not gone bankrupt, this trailer probably would have been used until 2004 or 2005. By that point, the cell phone in this trailer would have been considered outdated.

Rest in rip General Cinema (1970-2002)
Well this sucks, I guess they had to stick with CineMark, Dolby Cinema, IMAX, Regal, Showplace cinemas, some theatres, Vue, and even AMC. *Sigh* how they still get there

the whole company shut down. it went Bankrupt. in the early 2000 ticket prices were like 4-6 dollars, but GCC wanted to charge twice that so people stopped going. I remember they started to build a GCC theater not to far from me but GCC went bankrupt and shutdown about midway through the construction. The site is now a Walmart, the only thing big enough to fit in that vacant spot.

I have read reports that General Cinema moved to Coca Coca in 2001, but my memories are kind of Hazy when it came to my final visit to General Cinema in Greenwood, Indiana back in November or December of 2000 when I saw The Grinch. I saw the Grinch back in Christmas 2000. Was General Cinema's Greenwood, Indiana location selling Coca Cola at the time The Grinch was released or were they still selling Pepsi at the time?
