    Thank you, helps a lot!
FYI We recently insulated our circa 2000(no oem insulation at all, they seemed to add some around 2010) Linea classic with approx. 3/4-1" thick polyester batting. In my opinion it is a must to do for machines without or add to any oem insulation and we got the 100% polyester for free from a meal kit which uses it as insulation called "renewliner w/sandwiched clear pet sheeting". No zip ties or twist ties were needed. Just wrap the tanks separately with 20" long pieces. Cutting holes for sensors and long cuts to tuck under tubes. 2 layers for the ends of the tanks and a loose removable large sheet for a second layer on top of both tanks as heat rises. Be careful not to accidentally push down the steam tank's water sensor probe setting-add electric tape or zip ties to it's height position so it can't change.
Added small pieces on top of the brewing heads and wrapped the steam valves and pressure gauge with a medium piece. All totally removable easily.
Added a sheet tuck wrapped to each tank's bottom, drain valves hold it in place.
Did have to remove the side back surround panel to add a small long insulation strip to steam tank's backside under rear panel, to do the most insulating possible.
The top cups warmer still warms the cups now but they aren't hot like before. Our machine doesn't have a heating element for the cup warmer top.
Now staff is more comfortable and machine's heaters/electronics cycle on much less and bldg's AC system doesn't labor as much. Saves $$, reduces heat aging of machine's wiring and electronics.
Polyester "pet", "recycling triangle #1" batting(often made from recycled bottles) insulates well and is in most of our pillows and sofa foam top padding, comforter innards and isn't nasty lung irritating and itchy like fiberglass and can take the heat since the temp cut offs are 135c and no open flame. It's the best material I've found.
    Take care
