From the end of 2024, the number and scale of natural disasters will increase multiple times. The reason for this is entering the cosmic cycle of 12000 years.
If we don't take action now, in 5-7 years it will be impossible to live on the planet. And not later than 2036 there will be a catastrophe, which will turn the Earth into a second Mars.
We still have a chance to save the planet and our own lives. The analytical report and ways to solve the problem are voiced here: "Global Crisis. The Responsibility" (online forum).

You would have more accurate to stop at "I'll never understand"! But this volcano only just started to erupt recently. There had been no eruption in this part of Iceland in 780 years. Then just a few years ago the area started to get more active. This is the first time since 1973:that a volcano has directly threatened a town with a lava flow.
Look around the world and you'll see millions of people living close to volcanoes. Usually, those volcanoes rumble a bit and don't become much of a hazard, but sometimes the eruption can be very disruptive. It was only late last year when the first loss of life from a volcanic eruption occurred last year.
The reality is that other natural disasters cause more death and property damage than volcanoes. Hurricanes, tornadoes, forest fires and floods all cause far more casualties EACH than volcanoes!!!

This is a small-scale version of a flood basalt eruption, such as triggered the Permian-Triassic mass extinction. My prayers to all those affected by this situation. If anything is to be learned from all this, is that people on both Iceland, and the Big Island of Hawaii, should not get too personally attached to any single piece of real estate on both islands, because of the ever-present risk of lava flows. Perhaps the people should transfer to easily movable trailer homes, because of the risk of heartbreak resulting from the destruction of unmovable homes. Because any single part of Iceland and Hawaii's Big Island can get hit by a lava flow, or earthquake, no unmovable structure will ever be completely safe. Once again, my prayers to all those endangered by volcanoes.
