I am in agreement with you ..Shabbos is the day we spend with G-d , it is a day of rest and joy. It is very easy to forget all the history that gone before us. G-d is close to his people and has always wanted that. I thanks G-d every single day for blessing and provision and protection.

We must maintain our humility and never lose focus on what we live for. This life is merely a “ stepping stone “ which can add enlightenment to our perception in what it represents. Without God we are nothing. Without God , the breath of life which was so graciously given becomes worthless along with our existence. We observe Sunday as our Lord was resurrected on a Sunday. A person like me should ideally observe both. When it is possible.
